Great video! I’m intrigued by your line through system with this bait! When you rig it that way, what power of rod are you using? Could you share what size hook that is? I imagine you need a decent sized rod with all that plastic but you would also need a decent hook to hold up to the rod.

Jusr add more drops.When you achieve the desired color write it down.Most colorantd are about 49 drops per cup.Start with a few and work your way up until you like it.Easy as that. 🎉

Thanks! I'm working on it. Sometimes I get carried away with the "Why". I try to cover all the bases for the new beginners in the audience. I'm a lot more streamlined in my more recent videos. This was over a year and a half ago. Thank you for the input!

I have an 850 CFM inline exhaust fan by AC Infinity above my workstation. I have some affiliate links in the description of my videos to the fans that I use in my shop.

Sometimes. I do bait drops over at my website, www.8bitbaits.com I have some crankbaits on there right now that were painted by my friend Garrett over at Active Catch that are painted using the Holoshift Powders.

You're right, I could probably add some safety glasses to the PPE I'm wearing now. I wear a leather apron whenever I'm pouring baits so I don't get burned, I also wear gloves when injecting so I don't get burned, and I have an 850 CFM exhaust fan extracting all the fumes. Oh I almost forgot the respirator I also use when I'm not filming. But you're correct, I should add glasses to the mix too. Thank you for the tip.

Sir, Merry Christmas. I need your help. I purchased a bag of 100 Yelp Dingers. I am relatively sure they are knock-offs. They are made in Guatemala. The issue is, someone put machine oil/ 3-n-1 oil in the bag and it stinks to high heaven. Do you think if I wash them off with warm soapy dawn dish washing water to get ride of the oil, they could be usable?

Well you could certainly try but I would make sure they are good and dry before you try and re-melt them down again. Do you plan to re-inject them into some other molds or just use them as Yum Dingers?

I wish I started sooner making baits so I could have some of these colors 😂 saw this video along with a few others and went looking for the MF colorants for this motor oil and a few others I wanted to experiment with myself but noone has them in stock anywhere anymore

Yes it is, but I don't mind if it bleeds slightly into the body over time. It will give a natural tail look.

@baitchuckin yea quite a few of them. If the color only comes in a 4 oz. bottle then it's new. They have regular rootbear thats not a dye also. I got the dye cuz it looks like it'll make a awesome translucent crawfish color

Great video! Very cool color, and I gotta defend the pink glitter I use it all the time for saltwater fish! I’d love to see a holoshift with a bright pink color!

@ yes I’ve used it in plastic and airbrushing, I got more of a purple color than pink out if it though it probably had more to do with the backer, definitely gets some pink tones from onyxia though !

The .5” is a near exact match to the OSP Dice lite so I would start with that first. 🙌🏼
