Let me just state my opinion here. I personally think that if Andrew Garfield had a bit more acting experience before the year 2001, then he would be a better casting as Peter Parker in Spider-Man (2002) it’s because he would’ve been closer to the actual character’s age and at the time and you did look like a nerd. Although Toby did great, and he looks like a nerd girl, but he was 10 years older than a character. What do you think?

Watch JT in other interviews, he’s intelligent and witty. I think he’s just uncomfortable here because they were focusing too much attention on ‘JT’ the musician and not the movie. Also occasionally he zones out and seems out of it in interviews. That’s just how he is.
