can Adobe Audition do this?

I’m not sure! But it should be possible to isolate audio transients and translate that into MIDI format somehow! Sorry I can’t be more help on this one

Thanks a lot! btw, are these samples included to Logic? or they're downloaded form elsewhere? THe thing is that I can't find these libs in my Logic...
@indigoson7972 Жыл бұрын
Yes all of these samples would be included in logic and could be found through the trigger menu! If they aren’t there you can try to go to Logic Pro X > Sound Library > Reinstall Sound Library. Hope that helps!

Great video, regards to Snare bottom and Snare top would you compress them both together to convert it to midi or put sample to each one of them? Thanks
@indigoson7972 Жыл бұрын
Great question! I would typically trigger the Top snare mic seeing as the audio transients would be much more clear for the trigger algorithm

Very useful. Thanks. I started by looking into Nektar and ended up here. Logic X is a very powerful piece of software.

Thank you for this!!! OK just a quick question because I really like how the sunset kit sounds in logic Pro X… Can I take my existing drum tracks and import the sunset drum kit sounds to replace my drums?
@indigoson79724 жыл бұрын
Hey Dave! Once your drums are triggered into MIDI you can use any of the Logic sounds! (that includes the Sunset Kit). Does that answer your question?

@@indigoson7972 Thank you for getting back to me! See the problem is when I originally recorded the drums I did not record them as midi tracks I recorded them just as regular audio files… Is there a way of taking an audio file recording and turning it into a midi recording afterwards? I’ve got them marked individually for the kick, toms, snare, etc. but they are just audio files currently

@@davesims7917 Yes i do that at around the 2:00 minute mark in the video. Logic will trigger the audio transients of your waveforms and create the midi information!

@@indigoson7972 oh I see… But does that have the presets like the one I’m referring to (Sunset kit) in there?
