It was measured before installing and is near perfect, I think it is an optical illusion due to the discoloration of the disk surface

I invested more than double the purchase price in the restoration, so I think that does not matter, when you want a nice Moto Martin CBX you need to invest 15.000 to 20.000 Euro's and it is not how you want it, so for me it was worth the investments, since it is to fully to my liking. I would say 30 to 100% more than a CB1, depending on the specifications

It was targeting to be the most luxurious car of the day (late 20's). 25 were planned to be sold, but due to the depression, 7 have been build but only 3 of those were sold, all with a 12.763 liter (778 cu in) straight-eight engine. I have a stock CB1 also, but from handling and in my opinion also looks, the standard one is a cruise ship in comparison to the sleek and nimble Moto Martin CBX'es. But the standard CBX is still an awesome bike as well, keep on enjoying it and subscribe to my channel to see more CBX videos in the future, including the full restoration of my CB1 which is now packed in 5 huge boxes.

Yes, times, materials and know how has dramatically improved, but if you think of the RC166 with 65hp from a 250cc in the 60's, things were pretty awesome those days as well. Please subscribe to my channel, plenty more CBX videos on there, thanks.
