One of my all-time favorites, and I love the preponderance of bass in the song. I love the whole album. I've had the vinyl, 8-track, cassette, and CD of this Book of Dreams Album and it never gets old for me, still love it as much now as I did when it 1st came out, A Classic!

Live or in studio. Porcupine tree and Steve Wilson are perhaps one of the greatest bands ive run across. They deserve much more recognition. its fucking magic

Couldn't agree more!! Brilliant! Really took prog to the next level, if that was even possible. Fripp, Howe, Lifeson, Buford, White, Squire, Geddy, Wakeman, Emerson, Gabriel, all the original greats, are saying, "Well Done Guys, well done"

Never stop the car on a drive in the dark Never look for the truth in your mother's eyes Never trust the sound of rain upon a river rushing through your ears (Ah-ah-ah-ah) Arriving somewhere but not here Did you imagine the final sound as a gun? Or the smashing windscreen of the car? Did you ever imagine the last thing you'd hear As you're fading out was a song? (Ah-ah-ah-ah) Arriving somewhere but not here All my designs simplified And all of my plans compromised All of my dreams sacrificed Ever had the feeling you've been here before? Drinking down the poison the way you were taught Every thought from here on in your Life begins and all you knew was wrong? (Ah-ah-ah-ah) Arriving somewhere but not here All my designs simplified And all of my plans compromised And all of my dreams Did you see the red mist block your path? Did the scissors cut a way to your heart? Did you feel the envy for the sons of mothers tearing you apart? (Ah-ah-ah-ah) Arriving somewhere but not here

Electro Lux Imbroglio Instrumental Thought about the folks back home All those miles that we had roamed Still can see your pretty hair When I come back will you be there You flew away like a kite I hope you find your light I pray they treat you right What a sacrifice Miles and miles I have roamed Lookin' for that home sweet home Thought I had the love with you But I found out that you weren't true You made me feel so nice Ready for wedding rice Then you said no dice What a sacrifice Lookin' back on time that's gone I realized I might have been wrong But Macon took you for a ride They broke us up for their own pride But you were young and didn't understand That you had found your lifetime man Maybe someday you'll see It gets so lonely being free So don't be wrong twice What a sacrifice

The original album was essentially different versions of the same song so, It’s completely appropriate that we have such good cover versions of the same song. This version by Lady Blackbird is breathtakingly good and as someone else said, leave tears in your eyes at times. Do listen to the version by Rumour for another completely different but, similarly breathtaking cover. Also produced by the man himself, Trevor Horne.
