There are loads of factors that come into play for the pricing. The most important thing is the scale. The smaller the scale, the smaller the price as the models are less detailed (I recommend 1:400 as it's just in the middle for the price to detail ratio). But yeah, it really varies. The most expensive is definitely the models. The airport itself can be under £100 while still being a good quality, like the one in this video. Personally, I have close to £1800 worth of models. That got me 30 models in 3 years, but I didn't buy all of them. Some of them got gifted, and some of them got bought by money i got from selling stuff. It really is kind of a small business 😅 So it definitely isn't cheap, but one thing to know is that it takes patience, and you expect your collection to be very big very soon but the key is to be patient. Start off by buying 5 or 6 to get your collection going and then like save up $100 to $200 specifically for the models if you can and the when you reach that amount, spend it on improving your collection or your airport materials. I don't know if what I said is helpful and if it's well explained, but yeah, it will cost money. You just have to take it slow.
