As a European, this is mind boggling, the paralell parking for example, why tf do they have so much space? You're not learning anything, that's just backing up. Also I don't know if the kid flying through red lights was taking a driving test, or just driving with an instructor (In Europe you can't learn with your parents, you need to drive with an instructor only, and learn that way), but If it was an actual test he shouldn't have gotten away with that, In my country (Poland) the test would be immediately stopped, and even if that were just teaching lessons, my instructor would brake instantly and ask me what the hell was I thinking, meanwhile, they're just cruising along? That's enough Australians for today bro.

Why do we reverse to a curb on the driven test I have never done this in actual driving I always just pull forward into the curb never reversing to parallel park i beleive that shouldn’t remove points bc almost nobody does it

Having driver Ed in grade school when you were taught by teachers to drive at sixteen was great. Mr Freeze ( his real name) our Phys ED teacher was our instructor. Tracy Auchterhauf was my fellow student learning partner. We had fun and learned to drive safely with friends. We could even drive Standard Transmission ( stick shift ) which most can’t nowadays.

for the people thinking this is their driving test. IT ISNT!!! 'Driving Test' is just the name of the TV show that was hosted on channel 9 in australia that these clips come from. the ONLY exception was the last person who had trouble adjusting their hand break. All the clips of the drivers were probably doing their first or second lesson

I remember when I first took my driving lessons. My driving instructor was an older guy but was very nice. Not stressing at all. He made sure to give me tips and teach me without stressing me out too much, which ended up with me making very good progress with the course. I got my license about a year ago and now I drive like I’ve been driving for years

I failed my first driving test before I even got to start the engine - went in mum's car and one of the side blinkers was out. Re-booked for the next day and had the blinker fixed on the way home, passed the test with flying colours. Some people just aren't meant to drive lol how are people as wildly incompetent as the ones in this video even sitting their driving test. Who was supervising them on their L's and told them "yeah that's it, I think you're ready to go do your test now" lmao.

When parallel parking, my instructor gave me some reference points to consider: the tail light of the vehicle at the side, then steer to the right (we are in a right-side driving country) until you see the car logo/center in the back, then adjust the wheel, go back until you have enough space, finish getting into the parking spot, readjust wheels again and go forward or back depending on what you need to do in the situation. The only flaw I have noticed with this technique is you should readjust those parameters to your car/family car if it's not the same model. My family had completely different cars but this method still helped me pass the test smoothly, and I was told it allows you to park even in more narrow spots
