I use this setup to play videos on the TVs at the bar, my only issue is when I use the headphone splitter, the volume is really low when trying to cue the next song/video. I’m plugging directly into the iPad when I play, not a controller.

I use that type of splitter and it works great. When I use one along with the hdmi adapter to watch videos on a tv, the volume is really low on my headphones. It makes pre-cuing songs hard. Even when I have the headphones volume all the way up.

You saved me from more unnecessary head scratching! Thanks so much for posting this!

Hard to find set ups👾

Justin one thing I noticed with using automix was if I bump the crossfader even ever so slightly it like turns the volume down, putting it back to center doesn't help turn it back up. I have to turn the master volume up and then back down before the next songs starts because it comes in at full volume. Have you ever experienced this or know where I can look to fix that?

Djay automix was the original reason I even started using the djay app. I wanted different transitions between songs in my playlist. I just discovered the function and value of setting the automix cue points because it’s kind of hidden in the menus.

I hate that you have to set an additional set of cues. I wish the automix could just run off all the cue points I already took the time to set up for live mixing. This confused me at first. I thought it wasn't working. I actually contacted their support. They told me I have to set these points again. great video. You've become my go-to for DJ pro news.

I’ve found a couple annoying things that I’m hoping to find answers to. and this one is getting increasingly annoying. When I search a song, whether in my collection or in the playlist, after I exit the search, the selected song goes back to the top, or beginning of the playlist. It doesn’t go back to the song I was just on. That’s super annoying as it makes keeping my flow difficult.

Another top notch video. Thank you. Just wanna add that the „neural mix waveforms“ for me personally are far from being confusing. Even if you don’t use neural mix that much the seperated waveforms give you a great visual confirmation about what’s going on in the track, especially for stuff like vocals, breakdowns etc. Keep up the great work.

Recently made the move to Djay Pro from Serato DJ Pro. . Like it so far. However, I’ve found a couple annoying things that I’m hoping to find answers to. First, how do I get my queue to clear after I play a song. I already toggled the “clear from queue” after song is played in the settings. It still doesn’t clear the song after I play it. Thanks to Djay Pro, I started out on the phone over 8 months ago, got my first controller 6 months ago and now feel pretty confident for a first gig I hope soon! I love Djay pro and use it with my controller on MAC

If you connect iPad to TV via HDMI, where does the sound comes from? From the TV or the iPad? Is it possible to select the sound output source to TV once connected via HDMI?
