Okay Tbf, nanana is one of their easiest songs. In terms of guitar difficulty, it’s fairly easy.

Fxxxxck.. Neither one of them is any good.. I've always thought Frank and Ray were really good guitar players.. Man I've been fooled!! Lol!! 🤘

Shame there arent a lot of Ray Toro interviews out there. He's a great guitar player, but he seems super shy and private.

People who just thought mcr was just emo sad music use to make fun of me for liking them. But I fell in love with it because of the guitar. These two guys really got me into playing. The riffs are so sick and metal!

3:29 Frank: *Finishes the 1st verse, and turns his guitar down* Ray: And then the 2nd verse, take the 2nd verse… Frank: *Annoyed that he has to play the 2nd verse, and turns his guitar back up* Ray:… completely different as usual. Frank: *laughs, cause he could never stay mad at his buddy* 😊😊😊😊

Ray was so in the right band back then in the mcr days and i also really like frank and his rhythm playing it is powerful just the way he slams on that cool old guitar man i feel sorry for those strings but theyre probably pretty heavy i would think so maybe i dont feel sorry anyway sorry not sorry but i found out that frank is a scorpio born in 1981 on halloween pretty cool i am a bit younger born in may of 88.

ik yall are joking but when he's saying that it's super simple he's talking about the structure/writing of the riff, not how difficult it is to play

I can't believe how many people commenting are confused how Frank played that section with one strum. You can do it with no strum at all. Not hard. These guys are good, especially Roy. Frank plays a lot of octaves, simply sliding up down. Simple. But they are BOTH quite good.

The darkness of that Sabbath flavoring just gets me right in the cerebral cortex AND the guts. When they played the riff from Mama, they opened a portal to the netherworld. They're literally sorcerers.

I remember the days these guys would hang out at Studio 1 in Newark, Mike and Frank were from Belleville, not Newark. I don't know why they associate themselves with Newark, such a SH of a city.
