@@hybridmusclegarage4590 Yep. So that means that I have a bad fuel pump. I have 13.5V and full electrical continuity through my switch and still, the pump keeps blowing the inline 10A fuse. bad pump. Thank you

My truck was sort of like that. It miss fired at times. It’s still under 1k in miles. When I changed the tank and fuel sending unit, solved the issue. The tank and unit were really dirty. Not sure if or when it was ever changed

I ran quite a few different carbs on Chevy big blocks back in the 70's. The best carb I ever had was a 750 CFM Carter spread bore on a large port 427. Swapped a buddies Holley 850 on the 427 and the Carter performed much better! The Holley was a square bore so that may have been the issue? I think the Carter even though having a smaller air volume rating produced a higher air velocity? Back then everyone thought a bigger CFM carb was the trick but I had discovered that's not always the case even when running a bigger cam.

So true, Bigger CFM is not always better! I learned that in the 80's. Big blocks were so common in the 70's and 80's. I remember they were king with rock crusher 4 speeds and 411 gearing. Ah the simple good ole days.

Nice job! Did similar with my el camino along with the speedo. Now have bright aqua/blue lights that could pass for factory instead of dim white/yella ones. Little things really make a car. Great vid, first one Ive seen like it.....I cannot stand the LED/Ricer type lights in old cars.

KNIPEX is the best of the best German quality you can't beat them with the choice of professional engineers, I've tested Wirefy crimping tools and found them to either under-crimp or over-crimp both of which produce poor electrical and mechanical properties thereby overestimating expectations plus you'll find they are copies of much cheaper makes

Nice work! Steering column clock spring on my wife's car recently imploded. On the newer cars this $40 part is what gets all of the steering wheel controls electrically connected to the rest of the car. I was quoted $480 to replace it and that was just labor. First time ever doing it took me 20 minutes from start to finish after disconnecting the battery so the air bag wouldn't go off. The dealerships around here are beyond dishonest!
