My musical partner and I have been playing this song since the mid 70s, and yours is one of the most honest, well - played versions I've ever heard! Keep up the good work, and John's Legacy will live on in young people like you. It's your world now!

So much subtler than the actual composer Steve Gillette's flat picking, and better than Denver's cover in fingerpicking. I have finger picked it for years, but this is so clean and clear that I hear notes and intervals that I never heard before. And the voice is haunting. This is what this song has been waiting for.

I love your voice. Your emotions and vocals resonates this song through eternity. John Denver from Heaven, I'm sure is smiling with glee upon Parker. You're an awesome artist and I wish there's more of you in todays world. Somehow. somewhere. the art of music is being lost in this age and time. My time here on Earth is very limited and I'm on my last days. I can't thank you enough for playing one of my favorite songs. You allowed me me to relived my past and brought back old memories. I sang this song to my late wife on our wedding day. I can still see the glitter on her eyes and the loving smile when she was watching me performed this song. It was the best day of my life. Soon I will joining her in Paradise. What a wonderful feeling it is to know that there are artist like you that can honor many of us by acknowledging our precious music. I can now go the Heaven knowing that My Memory Of Love Will bring me home. Thank you so much Parker. God bless you. 🤍🤍🤍🤍

She talks about the future like she's flippin' through a magazine Finds the beauty in the thrown away and broken things Gets excited about all my crazy dreams Got every sunset that she's ever seen memorized Saves 'em away for a rainy day or stormy night The sky's brighter lookin' at it through her eyes I don't remember Life before she came into the picture Brought the beauty I was missin' with her Showed me colors I ain't never seen She took chances With every wall I built, she saw a canvas I thank God every day for how He made her My life was black and white but she's the painter She reminds me that it ain't too late to start again Fine is good, but you need some blue every now and then How'd I live so long without her reckless touch? I don't remember Life before she came into the picture Brought the beauty I was missin' with her Showed me colors I ain't never seen She took chances With every wall I built, she saw a canvas I thank God every day for how He made her My life was black and white but she's the painter I don't remember Life before she came into the picture Brought the beauty I was missin' with her Showed me colors I ain't never seen She took chances With every wall I built, she saw a canvas I thank God every day for how He made her My life was black and white but she's the painter She's the painter
