Yah I actually let my candle light for hours on the first burn but it still tunnels and n won’t melt the wax all the way around. Like every single candle. Cotton wick, wood wick doesn’t matter.

My wick is meant for candles 2.5-3 inches diameter and my containers are about 2.3 inches. I let it burn for 3 hrs, it won't melt all the way to the sides. No matter what I do this happens. I don't know why to do and I'm a bit desperate because I have a huge bag of wax.

Spit on the fingertips works well for putting it out.

Unfortunately, when I lower my radiator temperature from 70 to 60 the desired temperature of my rooms is never reached and the combi boiler is constantly igniting. Lowering the hot water temperature though is definitely a winner for me. Lowered from 60 to 47 and I don't need to add cold water anymore.

How do I restart one of these boilers? Last night my radiators were hot, today they are not coming to temperature at all... Not sure what could be the reason. I was hoping resetting the boiler might help

I have a candle in a jar about 3.5" in diameter and 3.5" high. At the beginning I used a foil topper with a hole in the middle to ensure the wax is liquid covering the entire surface. At about half through the flame became tiny, so I removed the topper. Now I see a normal flame, but it began to form a tunnel. If I put back the topper, the flame again is almost dying. Any suggestions?

If tunnelling occurs, just melt the wax in a double boiler and add a new wick . Just tried tbat and it was pretty easy

How do I adjust to make the water hotter, Eco mode is on and set at 60 I think. But when you have a bath we don't have to put any cold water in, we want it hotter for a bath can I adjust so it's hotter.

The difference between having a return flow of 58C to 54C is very minimal though (around 2% at MOST), personally i'd have the higher flow temperature, especially in the winter.

Use a coffee/candle warmer plate. Melts the entire candle. No effort, no scraping. If you've burned the tunnel too deep, the wax will cover up the wick, so correct it early.
