He took the air box out and it seemed to help a lot. Lemme know how urs sounds if u ever try that or found another way to fix it cuz I’m about to do this to mine

I'm on the same situation. My Audi has a black logo. In my opinion it looks horrible. I'm not a brand w-hore, but who was the person that thought; "chrome looks horrible, let's switch it with a black logo that blends in with the rest of the grill".

I just did this and broke zero tabs, maybe cause it was warm out. Got lucky. Just sprayed with plasti dip. Looks sick. Thanks!

Does the intake sit tight inside the airbox or do you just have it loose inside

What did you do for the secondary intake inside the box? There is a little plastic pipe that plugged into the stock filter and now that has been removed it needs to have some sort of filter installed onto it or it will suck up all sorts of things.

The SAI can get it's own little filter and doesn't have to reside in the same airbox. Mine is under the airbox.

what a weird video.. dude only cares about the sound of the car and doesn't mention power increases at all? On top of that, he doesn't take it to redline..... I'm wildly confused here

I'm not sure what you expect. In most cars, you will get next to nothing by changing an intake unless you have the car modified for higher power levels. With this particular engine, if you have a software tune which can provide another 110-130hp AND a trans tune, you get about 15 more HP. The engine software tunes will increase the redline from 6400 to 7400 rpm but the transmission computer will still want to shift at 6250. On the 1/4 mile track, if you have both tunes present, your trap speed will go up about 2mph and the ET will go down 1-2 tenths. On the street everybody is looking for the Hellcat, but can't seem to find it because you keep making the same noise.

I think if you have an A6 you should do this it looks nice but I just bought an S6 and I'm thinking of doing this but I feel like I'm disrespecting a "badged" car. Should I just keep the classic S6 look de-chrome the car and go from there with new wheels or should I go with this RS6 look on my C7 S6 and wheels.... Thoughts please, thanks.

How in the heck did he just put it in? There's a tube inside the air box that stops you from being able to put it in all the way and use the factory airbox. Anybody have the different model or something?

I have been trying to find the source of my 2 codes(p0491/p0492 and CEL being on ..I have a 2010 A6 so I used my dremel to do some cutting on the pipe.The aftermarket filter must not have a closed top because it will not supply filtered air to the SAI pump on cold start..and that will ruin your pump and 50 amp fuse.

No lol 😂 the back logo is held with double sided tape. You’ll need floss to remove it and a heat gun to soften the leftover tape/residue so you can remove it. Make sure you place a piece of tape under the logo so you know where to place the new logo once you remove all the old tape.

Great video man, I have some sun damage on the top of my wheel I never thought to vinyl wrap it I was actually looking at your sew on coversbut this is way better. How did it hold up after sitting in the sun?
