I’m sorry but I just can’t get into this coupling. I have always been a robron fan and for a long time I just thought that I wouldn’t like anyone besides Robert but after it being so long and the chances of Robert returning is so unlikely I just am beginning to realize it’s not so much about Robert as it’s just Aaron needs someone opposite of him. Aaron can be brash and cold at times but with this sort of soft, funny cheeky side that only comes out with people he really loves. Robert did that. Robert was the counter to him. They were just opposite on some many levels and that’s what was the attraction and creates the chemistry. All the people they have tried to pair Aaron with since are just boring. They are in many ways just him in a different form. Maybe Al little nicer or alittle more mysterious but at the end of the day it’s just like two of him and dull. It feels like a waste because I think they have potential to create a great love story again and it just seems like they repeatedly miss the mark. I’ll keep hoping they get their act together or who knows maybe a Robert return someday. 🤞 wishful thinking I know. But I so appreciate the downloads. I do like to keep up with things for sure.

I happened to re-watch Aaron episodes from 7 & 8 August. I'd forgotten that around that time he was just starting to become happy and back to his cheeky self. Then he meets John, and it's all downhill for Aaron from there. I don't have anything against the actor who plays John, but the role and attitude they've given him is so lifeless and dour ... he has no personality and no sparkle and is constantly being a bit of a smartass. Aaron needs someone who is exciting, provocative and spirited and especially a really handsome/ attractive man he can look up to. John just doesn't do it ... reckon it's best if they go their separate ways now.

I'm pretty sure John is considered an attractive man, not as good looking as Robert but definitely attractive 10 times better looking than ben and Jackson that for sure. And I hope they improve their chemistry after this ruby storyline, especially john still hiding something for him.

Actually he's better looking than Robert but his chemistry with Aaron is nonexistent. You either have it or you don't. You can't develop chemistry. @@NoctTap

I agree with jimmy and buster in their comments below. But I don't blame either actor, it's the rubbish story lines and the very poor script writing. The actors are left with lifeless, awkward and clumsy lines. And dragging up the Gordon saga is retrograde and unimaginative, like they can't think of anything new so they take the easy way out. It's years ago now and Aaron got past it and had really moved on. Taking him back like this just makes Aaron's character seem to be a helpless victim, unable to escape from his past and dragged down by it.

Aaron is not the only character on the show they just connect his storyline with ruby, it's ruby main story and it make sense that Aaron will see the sign of ruby abuse, the only complaint I had is they ruby and Aaron should get more scenes before he beat up Anthony.

Why not, it make sense his connect to Ruby child abuse storyline, because they both suffer the same thing And Aaron literally lives at the same lot as Ruby. 😅 This storyline probably won Danny another best male actor award again

@Terry-dl4nf well Aaron always had an angry issue It makes sense he beat Anthony after telling Aaron he enjoyed what Gordon did to him. Child abuse trauma just magically goes away especially Aaron having a PTSD on it like went billy came on 2019, he kinda a mess too because he having PTSD about Gordon again and prison.

To suggest that Aaron is still triggered by sexual abuse is understandable. But to say that he never got justice is just absurd. His father was tried, found guilty, went to prison and killed himself. What kind of justice does he want? 🙄

As a CSA survivor, I completely understand Aaron. My own father avoided hard time because of a plea deal which really made me angry. He eventually violated his probation and was sent away for a long while (almost 15 years) but for me that wasn't justice. To me, justice would be him not being able to find peace anywhere in this life or the next. For him to be a true outcast from society, not having any friends or anyone to go to his funeral. That's justice. To me. So, yeah, I get Aaron. His dad had a short stay. True justice would be if he got to suffer worse than Aaron has.

Weird, weird, wired!! The last person on earth you would trust with a huge secret is Chas, never ever been able to keep a secret to herself. This whole story-line reeks of writers trying desperately to show how smart they can be with plot twists around every corner. Emmerdale has really lost it!

It's just ridiculous to give Aaron the line to say "My dad, Gordon, never paid for what he did"! What??! He was hauled before the court, found guilty of rape in a very public reckoning for all the world to see, sent to prison where has was physically and mentally abused by a group of thuggish inmates, and then forced to hang himself! And the writers want us to believe he never paid for what he did? I don't blame Aaron/ Danny, but dragging us back into Aaron's past like this seems retrogressive, forced and awkward. It's like the writers don't have enough imagination to develop new stories so they have to go back to old story-lines. I love Aaron. but this whole affair with John and this strange story just isn't working.

Many thanks to John Do for these episodes (saves me from having to flip through whole episodes of Emmerdale just to see Aaron!) Unfortunately the producers and writers have completely lost their way with these rubbish story-lines. I'm a huge Aaron/ Danny Miller fan and was really excited when he came back ... but it's been very disappointing right from the start with uninspired stories and really poor dialogue/ writing. Even the best actors, Including Danny, are clearly struggling to bring the series to life. The self-conscious effort to bring back the past with Aaron's abuse and cutting is awkward and just doesn't work. And if anything, the chemistry between Aaron and John is getting worse, virtually non-existent. I've got nothing against him, but I've reached the stage whereby I think they should finish off the John character and get someone really handsome, exciting and special into Aaron's life. Sorry, but John just doesn't cut it.

OMG! Poor Aaron. That guy made Aaron remember all the rape everything to the surface. He wanted to take him to the police but that scumbag was provoking Aaron. He didnt kill him. I fear for him. I want Aaron to be safe. He is so vulnerable now. I saw anxiety in him. Hope that he wont back to self harm. That old man was the trigger. Be safe Aaron. By the way i dont like that John guy. Something off about him. Its all so forced. Aaron and Robert love story was so natural so beautiful. I want Aaron to be well

It didn't occur to me until recently she played Kerry Young, when she was young, in The Bill. To be honest, she reminded me of Coleen Powell in Cell Block H!
