You can check out more wolf and a good amount of cherry bomb but i would say what you're looking for is his flower boy album that has more of the rap you are talking about and his newer albums call me if you get lost and the estate sale deluxe for CMIYGL. His earlier albums bastard and goblin are a hit or miss with how most lyrics are vulgar and more so shock value but he has always been the same with jazz influence and his theme of telling a story with rap and other forms of music. This is really late though as of now, but i hope if you see this and consider

Nothing's gonna hurt you baby was my first song back in 2016. It was a lovely moment. I wish I had that time back but at the same time I'm glad I've gotten older. Hopefully you still listen to CAS

"Crocodile Rock" was by Elton John, and was an homage to 1950s/1960s popular rock 'n roll and doo-wop boy-bands. Listen to Frankie Valli and the Four Season to get an idea. Maybe you could react to it? I'd suggest "Walk Like a Man" or "Big Girls Don't Cry." Thanks for this reaction to Shannon and the Clams; such fun and interesting music. I love all their retro influences.

Beatles, yes. I also hear a lot of doo-wop, 1950s, and girl-group too. Love it!

the best thing abt chase atlantic is their versatility. want pop? they got it. trap? you hit the jackpot. rap? r & b? hip hop? maybe some edgy stuff? theres loads. they even got some tear jerkers! oh yeah, and they have a freaking saxophone in some of their songs. who puts a SAXOPHONE in their music these days? chase atlantic does!

Last song is very much about the lyrics and for me it it big because i discovered it in time in my life when i could closely relate to it. And the dissonance and this, you said it, "something dont feel right" feels to me very intentional artistic choice to compliment what this song is about. CtE does this alot

I can't choose a favorite song from them, as it would be too difficult, but Dear Agony is hands down my most favorite album ever. I'm probably committing a crime putting Ember over Phobia in 2nd place, but I like Ember too. Especially Blood and Close Your Eyes.
