Hey, thanks for the video EBC. So is it normal, that i just installed the brakes bad yellow stuff plus GD Disc and the first drive down a mountain with no to agressive braking i have almost zero braking fully fading and was shocked, as the oeiginal brakes lasts even longer then that. It was even a weird smell in the air from the brakes, thats probably the coating then im right?

I agree that the bite on these pads is excellent. I just upgraded from OEM pads on my Audi R8. I'm still seeing a lot of brake dust (after over 100 miles) but its reddish in color. Is this the coating that is wearing off, and once the pads are bedded in wheels will be much cleaner? Thanks in advance for your reply.

hello, do you recommend using orangestuff brake pads on an Audi RS6 for street use? It is driven very sportily on the street. I have tried the yellow pads in the past but that was not a success. And then tried the blue pads and that went better, but not yet 100%. That's why the question is whether you recommend driving with the orange pads. Kind regards

I've had good past experience with EBC Yellowstuff on street and for quite a few trackdays at Arizona Motorsports Park in my Fiesta ST (maybe good for 2 weekends, 12 or so 20 min sessions). However, they are inadequate for harder tracks on my fronts. Note that EBC no longer recommends them for track use. At Inde Motorsports Ranch, after puttinh about 5K road miles on Yellowstuffs before the weekend, I was down to the backing after 8 x 20 min sessions (sneaked home metal-on-metal and finished knackering the rotors...). Before this last weekend at Podium Club - a new track with some intense braking - I put on fresh EBC slotted front rotors and the recommended Bluestuff pads. After 6 x 20 min sessions they were down to metal on front inside pads (!!!) I guess next step is to try the RP-1 and if they can't last I guess I need a BBK! BTW, I'm almost box stock with stock power and I wasn't getting any noticeable fade - braking performance was good, just no endurance.

Hi, if you have had issues with Bluestuff on track then we would recommend that you move up to RP-X. However please note that the RP-Series pads are not road legal. For further information, please drop an email to [email protected]. Thank you.

@@EBCBrakesUK g'day EBC mates & thx for the reply! You recommend RP-X - how do they compare to RP-1 for Fiesta ST on a hard braking track? The plots show the RP-1's have a pretty even mu over their temp range, not sure I need the mu increase at high temp of the RP-X, and posts I've seen mention the RP-1 last a bit longer - or is that mistaken? Smooth rotors - as consumables! - or slotted? Here in the colonies, it's not a problem to 'sneak' to and from the track on 'street-able' track pads. I had the Bluestuffs on for a week before Podium Club with one gentle canyon run and bedding snubs. I found they are fine on the street for me. It looks like either of the RP-1 or RP-X have good mu when cold so I'd swap 'em on and bed them before weekends. For us the season is about done so I'm putting on some basic Dynamic Friction 600-54075 smooth rotors and a spare set of Yellowstuffs I had on hand. They do fine on our mountain twisties. With the FiST, the adorably tiny rear brakes do fine with Yellowstuffs over multiple track days plus street/canyon use. I'll drop you a note to your email in coming days to continue chatting. Cheers!

Hi there! I can't find any information what is in the box with the braided lines? I am looking to buy an EBC kit BLMR3144-2F for my non-abs sv650s , but I can't understand if I will have to buy jumbo bolts and copper seals separately. Also, you say that EBC lines completely repeats the length an scheme of original lines, but my SV 650s has 2 breaks in the front, and only one solid line with a permanent T-joint, which I suppose is not the way you do your lines?
