0:20 the Filipino Cupid App? You know the hilarious but annoying thing about those Cupid apps is that when I tried Japan Cupid there weren't any Japanese Women, all that we got are Filipinos pretending to be Japanese 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I think since that's a foreigner we have to ask them what will be our foods or dishes to offer to avoid this disgusting incident. I feel sorry for her. Remember, americans or other foreigners are not used to eating traditional filipino dishes. It may be an act of being disrespectful, but we need also to understand it. Let's introduce them our cultures and traditions first.

This hadn't happened if this wimpy uneducated fool had just educated himself about the Philippines as well as had a genuine reason to go to to the Philippines, except from meeting Jenny that is.

Producer: "What do you think is cute about Larry ?" Jenny: "Um, Urm, I Like his nose. even if it's too big. (shy laugh)." Larry: "I'm glad she likes my nose even though is big. so pfft. she likes it thats the main thing." she is not talking about that nose. it's something else. 😂🤣🤣

O man! I feel so sorry for that beautiful family. In Serbia we do roasted pig in same way. It's really for special reasons. And it's delicious. I wish that I'm there. It'll be honour for me to prepare for them.

There are many cheap hotels in Manila, the guy didn’t need to spend his retirement money taking her somewhere fancy, if you’re gonna pay this much on dates you might as well date an American woman

If I were Larry, I would be extremely suspicious, because I would think the following: if a family so poor, who struggle to survive every day, would bring me a very rich meal, they would probably want something in return, especially MONEY. What we get for free is not always free.
@jeanmicheldeandrade2819
@jeanmicheldeandrade2819 Жыл бұрын
they probably did it because they knew Larry was going to pay back all the money they paid for that roast pig, so Jenny did that crocodile crying scene. Larry would feel guilty for refusing and would definitely pay for something.

Guys, while I well understand the Filipino culture and see how offensive this appears, I hope you guys have some heart to understand where this man was coming from. 1. It seems he’s done his research, as evinced by his way of greeting her family. Unless one makes conscious efforts to learn about the Philippine culture, one can never know how to put someone’s hand on one’s forehead. After all, it is not a biological gesture we are born to know how. In this way, he has done his research. 2. Yet as you must have experienced yourself when you were in another country, we can never research and learn everything ahead. How can you learn about what food to expect when you do not share the same cultural norm around the food in the first place? And how fair is it for you to be judged entirely based on your understanding about the food culture alone when there are hundreds of other facts and differences to learn about the new country/culture? In this way, I think it is extremely unfair to place all the blame onto this man alone. 3. At this point, I’d question: Why did the lady not communicate, much less explain, about what he is about to experience? Why is it his fault alone? Why was everything done with the violent assumptions that he would know how to do things in the exact way the locals do? Ask yourself this: If you visited another place for a friend and she unexpectedly presented you with a local prostitute male, expecting you to ‘receive’ him as a welcoming gift and getting disappointed when you do not ‘taste’ him, would you not feel unfair if they collectively call you rude, insensitive, weak, childish, and worst for you to keep your own principle and preferences? If this type of surprise was not communicated beforehand and we, as a new visitor, can’t know everything we are about to experience, is it justified that we get all the blames alone? Many cultures are extremely different from the Filipino’s family-oriented, collectivistic culture with food as the significant start of the relationship. The prostitute example above, no matter how unsavoury it may seem, isn’t therefore too different from the actual situation (and the shock) the guy must have felt in this moment.

How many stops are there to his flight? I know that the u.s is far away from the Philippines, I have been flying to the Philippines 3 times and I have only made 2 stops and my longest flight was from Denmark to Singapore which was a 14,5 hour flight after that it was another 3,5 hour flight to Cebu

In the Philippines lechon represent big celebration, no matter what it is delicious and it means a lot to us filipino, rich and poor. The problem is in poor family pig is so expensive. So if a poor family serve lechon it means the celebration means so much. Foreigners don't have the idea be coz most of things they took it for granted.
