Well, maybe the camera mounted on your head is a bad idea, you sure did edit out a lot of cleaning. Anyone reading comments, you don't have to cover the battery, you can disconnect the negative side if you want but it isn't a half to do. IF you do not have a fuel injected motor you do want to cover the carb/carbs, other than that, most of everything under the hood is able to get wet. NOT SOAKED (wet) clean everything, blow dry when you are done and get as much water out as possible, and you will be good to go.

There’s a spider hiding in my car and it’s like we’re playing cat and mouse because it runs and I go crazy trying to kill it but it went into the crack of the left side under by the gas and brake pedal so how in the world can I kill it because I’ve used bleach and sprayed the hell out of my car

Sounds like you got one hell of a mutant spider! If you really want to kill anything in the car then toy need to deprive it of oxygen, an Ozone machine would do the trick.

how long have you gota let it cure for before getting windows wet?
@deluxedetailing17153 жыл бұрын
Hi Gareth, great question! There isn't any information about curing times that I could see but obviously the longer you leave it the better, my personal experience is best to leave it at least an hour before getting it wet. Also application seems to be very user friendly and so a couple of minutes with a thorough buff is all you need to get a good bond to the glass, additional layers can be added for enhanced performance and longevity, leave at least 20mins between coats. I hope this helps! Aidan from Deluxe Detailing.

Cool but is it healthy for the engine and its surroundings?
@deluxedetailing17153 жыл бұрын
Yes, always be careful when using high pressure as you don't want to damage components and if you want to be extra careful then put a bag over your battery. Also do not do this when the engine is hot otherwise it could cause major damage. Apart from that just be mindful of what you are doing and try not going too overboard as it is just an engine bay after all.

would an extractor be good to use on perforated leather seats?
@deluxedetailing17153 жыл бұрын
Yes, or a vacuum cleaner both would make cleaning out the perforations much easier. I think if you have a vacuum then that should suffice.

I have spider webs inside my car, mostly in the front close to AC vents and right in front where the dashboard meets the windshield. I have sprayed peppermint oil mixed with water soo many times, it would work for 2-3 days and they would come back again. What do you think I should do? I don't like spiders at all
@deluxedetailing17153 жыл бұрын
My best advice is, find your cabin filter and spray that liberally, if this doesn't work then you might have to get a steam cleaner and steam directly into the vents being careful not to melt and plastics. If all else fails, use a OZONE machine, this will kill almost everything in the vehicle. I hope this helps!!

One thing that will work . Is to crush a dried up leaf . Put it on the web , the spider will come out from where ever it is hiding . Thinking its a fly that has got caught , in it's web . Then kill it , if you have a phobia about spiders get someone else to do it for you . Or use a shotgun, but this is not recommended by the car's manufacture .

sorry mate but this is completly pointless to use extraction on leather lol
@deluxedetailing17153 жыл бұрын
Slightly pointless yes but not completely, it sucks up the oils that are suspended in the all purpose cleaner, sometimes when you use a microfiber you just push it back into the leather. Don't get me wrong it really isn't the best way to go about cleaning leather but it is not "completely pointless" thank you for watching and commenting.

Pointless usually this on matts, too small. Drill and brush head 👍🏻
@deluxedetailing17153 жыл бұрын
This doesn't rotate in a circle whereas a drill brush does, Matts only really need the drill brush when they are too far gone to be able to clean effectively by other means, it may seem a bit tedious but its a safer method of cleaning matts, I appreciate the comment. I think if they made one twice the size then it would be a great tool for upholstery and Matt cleaning, it has quite limited uses otherwise.

Do you have to mix vinegar and water or does pure vinegar work?

Pure vinegar would work best but if you want it to go a little further then dilute 50% with water, also be sure not to expose to bare metal as it will speed up the rusting process!
