Kelly is a soft-doughy narcissist, who fancies himself a media darling. When he wins he is overly cocky. In the Vandy game he proved the point, when he let the clock run down at the end of the game, when he should have let Williams go in for another touchdown, out of respect for how he carried the team for the whole game. Moreover, his offense has had trouble the whole season scoring from ten yards out, and even closer, so why not let the offense prove to itself it can? Instead, he makes the offense sheepishly take knees! When he loses, he always makes the excuse to the fans to look at the bigger picture, for great glory is surely just over the horizon. This is merely the age-old ruse of the invisible-dangling carrot trick, and covers up for the fact that Kelly's team has played nothing but desperation football the whole year . . .

Nothing against Vanerbilt, they've had some big wins, but a team like LSU is expected to win. As usual, LSU barely slid by a lesser ranked team, and Kelly tried to put lipstick on that pig. I'm really hoping that this terrible coach, that knows nothing about how to motivate and lead yourng men (you don't humilate college kids, by screaming at them on national TV....pros yes, college a big no) is shown the door.

I've heard comparisons between Kelly and Miles. Its an unfair comparison because Kelly didn't follow Saban to coach LSU. I see similar rebuilds between Kelly and Saban. Also, Saban didn't have to deal with nil and unlimited transfers at LSU. That's not an excuse for some of the poor play of certain players on offense and defense. Burrow and Daniels didn't win their Heisman awards in their first year of running LSU's offense. Now, I did not say Kelly was/is a better coach than Saban or Miles.

LSU still has a chance to go 9-4 if they win their last game and their bowl game. A 9 win season is not bad at all. Obviously, you guys want to try to win a national championship, but you take what you can get and try to improve next season.
