I wouldn't say that the new GRE is easier. In my opinion, its a lot harder due to the test being very less forgiving if you make a mistake versus the old GRE. On the old gre, you can score a 95th percentile while getting a handful of questions wrong. However on the new gre, your score will drop significantly if you get a handful wrong. Because the shorter GRE is unforgiving as the old GRE, and the content difficulty is the same, i think the shorter version is harder.

I'd have really loved for Judith to ask Jayne about how the admissions committee views applications to Full Time MBA programs from older candidates(35+).

My daughter was offered admission by three T15 business schools without financial assistance. She has received full scholarship offers at less selective schools. We're uncertain if the debt incumbent in matriculation to one of the elite schools is worth it. She has no debt having received a full ride undergrad and has no employer sponsorship.

Past performance is the best predictor of future performance. She looks at the totality of the information about the applicant, especially sound analytical skills and creative instincts, strong performance, leadership style, personal character. Show how the person accomplishes things, with anecdotes. Mention areas of growth and opportunity. Highlight accomplishments and progression. Initiative, team leadership, collaboration, strategic orientation. How has past experience shaped what the applicant is today?

I am from India, I have computer science degree form a tier 1 university with 3 years experience in xxx hatcharies pvt ltd which is small and local company in my city in india. I am manager there and carry out a responsible job where I supervise and perform day to day operations and supply chain management . With a competant gmat score could i get into top tier mba programs in usa ? Or should i shift to role of software engineer and apply to mba in usa after working there for 2 years?

hilarious this guy is a fucking joke, he cares just about student fees, LBS takes everyone as long as candidates pay.. Please stay away from LBS. business schools in Europe are useless. if you really want to go to a business school aim for a top US one.

@santaatmoon48163 жыл бұрын
@@schmetterling4477 You are as rude as you are clueless. Let me educate you a bit, nearly all of harvard's endowment fund comes from charitable donations from its alumni and corporations that recruit from Harvard. There's a reason why Harvard explicitly underlines that its application process does not take into consideration the financial capabilities of its applicants.

Karla, Heidi, Judith and John, thank you for making time to let us know more about the experience! That moment where Judith got visibly sad at the mention of the ding list.. AH it's great to see that it really is the people who make the decisions looking at people instead of some robots looking at just the application number and a stack of stats and resumes. And seeds of greatness?! I think I'll need to have that written on a post it and put it at my desk. Thank you all!
