Thanks so much for the discussion around this incredibly important topic! It’s going to be a critical issue as law and policy develop in this space over the next few years.

Thanks for curating this clip! Excited to see how these lawsuits come out as they work their way through the courts 🚀

Your breakdown was super informative. I felt like i knew why the case was happening, but i had no idea about Van Buren and the rest of the precedent that could impact the case
@FranklinGraves8 ай бұрын
@@data4allpodcast734for sure! Viewers should also listen to the full episode and where I reference the other lawsuit going to a jury trial this summer. That Thomson Reuters case will impact things, too.

I remember listening to the radio in the early 90s on my boombox with my fingers hovering over the play/record buttons. Waiting and hoping that "Do the Batman" would play so I could capture it and listen to it all the time.

Could I give him screen sensors from my Google ads and ask him to improve them for me?
@data4allpodcast7348 ай бұрын
I don't believe so. If that were the case, google would provide everything you need since they would make more money with better targeted ads :)

Absolutely loved joining the podcast! Thanks for having me and asking such incredible questions and offering thought-provoking discussions back and forth.

It feels like we had very similar early tech experiences. Did you play video games as well?

@@charlieyielding haha, yes! Warcraft, StarCraft (custom games like PTQ 🤓) and Halo were my jams 😁

Like your setup, actually wondering how your record your different video viewpoints/angles - do you record with 3 cameras or webcams ?
@data4allpodcast73410 ай бұрын
Hi @pgpecquereau, we do use three camera angles. Our closeup videos for each Charlie is an iPhone, and then we use a webcam, Insta360 Link for the front view. We then have a wonderful video editor, Derek, that puts it all together for us.

@@data4allpodcast734 great thanks for the feedback ! Tons of time goes into editing then but with upcoming IA features getting integrated into the video production software it will improve this year (aside of being a data enthusiast I have as pet project creating a vlog in 2024 for my esports academy - whole other passion). Would be interesting perhaps to add to the backlog of podcasts a topic around datapoints captured through videos as now some analytics tools start proposing this too !

I sense this level is best conveyed by a diagram. For example imagine 10 people asking 1)Socrates 2) Sherlock Holmes the questions 1) What top 10 concepts should I understand in order to take off on understanding the AI buzz of late? We should use the best of visual pedagogical ontology aimed at A) kids B) 12 yesrs old C) 20 year old to interact the relationships between the 10 concepts. Plus some practical scenarios where they occur. Because, we have to get learners onto self-understanding. Then self-disambiguating like querious toddlers do.

Dan argues that in one of the last years (1940) that a complete physical canvass was conducted, it proceeded to generate a very small margin of error. But with the advancement of the modern digital world, we may never see such accuracy again. Dan's best contribution was turning the boring side of data into lively, relevant information.

You should ask if it can engineer features I suspect it will make some intelligent suggestions. Also - try asking it to summarize the session for you. It did a great job summarizing the steps it took and the results when I tried it on a similar problem.

Great Idea. Charlie A is already working on another video. In that one he is going to measure time and accuracy when working by himself, and then with GPT.

I'm a bit worried that you're making real life decisions based on what GPT wrote. I've see it mess up sometimes, but maybe this interpreter is better than the 3.5 chat.

Charlie A is going through all the steps and comparing them to how he does it. In the next video like this we are going to test the accuracy of GPT doing data science based on prompts.

I see how this can open up the power of data science to someone who does not code -- but who can take action on the results. It's awesome to have an idea, type it, and see what happens!
