THH was the creepiest part, I loved the horror arc and how relatable it was to people’s fear of everything that could go wrong at a hospital: The possibility of never again waking up after being put under anesthesia for an operation, having to look at several terrible-looking tools, annoying “volunteers” singing instead of giving you water, etc.

He was protective and tried to keep an eye on their mansion for safety reasons, but accidentally pointed his spyglass at their house backwards while the Sun happened to be right behind him. Naturally, their entire house then went up in flames because they had no fire safety measures, had way too many books that really did a number on the male brat’s eyesight and had obsessively disinfected every surface with horseradish-scented hand sanitizer due to paranoia about some sort of “deadly fungus” that B and B wouldn’t shut up about.

Honestly, I'm still early on, but i have to say that seeing the depiction of a young Kit Snicket kinda hurts. By the SoUE books, life had beaten her down until all she had was surface level optimism that was trying to hold back mountains of despair. Seeing her perspective as a child really shows how truama can change someone.
