By the look of the bow of the rescuing barge they have done this procedure many times before.

Great video. On this video that you loaded on June 20 the boat got stuck in the gate. A barge came up and pushed him out of the gate. At that time there was a man standing beside you using the tool on something looks like may be a giant ratchet. What was he doing? Is he adjusting jumping in the gate or just getting his exercise? Just curious to how those gates work thanks for the videos

Maybe show us how you walk to the location on the dam gate
The water lilies are chopped into salad by ship propellers. At most, they could stop small boats.

Are the people buying these boats themselves? Or do they pilot the boats for others or for government?

Hello, thank you for watching the video. They still live on barges in cramped spaces for several days, weeks, even a month or more. They still have houses on the mainland, they will return home to rest for a few days and then continue to make a living on their barges.

I see some of the captains are using a side to side technique. Is this the fact that the boat steers poorly or are those captains using a certain technique? LoL!

Hello, thank you for watching the video. This boat carries sand. Its main component is sand, but it contains mud. This sand is exploited from a very large river and used to fill ponds, lakes... and do a number of other jobs. I have a few videos on how to pump sand from a barge to the mainland, you can find it on my channel

Dear sir, I occasionally look at your KZbin program about the VERY HIGH POLLUTING vessels going through the dam gates. Its very amusing at seeing these boat owners trying to navigate the gate. But like I said your country does not bother about pollution and its about time something was done about it, its not acceptable when many of us are trying to clean up the air we all breath including you. Not your fault, but have you a pollution free vehical/other.😢

Developing countries get too pollute all they want. Look at China, India, and Pakistan.

You do realize that everything shipped overseas comes on ships that burn bunker crude which is far dirtier than anything you see here? Many of these people are barely surviving and don't have the funds to rebuild their old motors.

These boats should have dual rudders, front and back, and same with engines and props. One in front and one in back, with two people controlling them. Rear helm only makes sense on ocean going ships due to large waves, but on these types of long river boats that encounter such complex currents they need two helms and propulsions, one in the front and one in the back. They would save thousands in fuel costs by this simple configuration change, and thousands in repairs from less crashes. Whomever is first to make this change will be the richest man on that river.
