The Devil is NOT punishing people in Hell.. The Devil is not in charge of people in Hell.. You will never find ANY scripture in the Bible saying that satan is some kind of king of hell punishing people.... You heard that from other human beings RIGHT?? Right.. To answer your question, I’ll give a little background: In Rev 12, you get the full account of Lucifer, who was once an angel, he rebelled against God and was cast out. Some angels left with him and he’s already been judged and he knows his fate but guess what? In verse 12 b you see where the devil knows he has a short time so he and his angels do not want to perish alone. He is the accuser of the brethren, he accuses the children of God because he does not want to perish alone in hell. In Job 1, you can see where the devil clearly accuses job before God. 1 Peter 5:8 KJV “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:” Eventually, according to Rev 20:3, the devil is cast into the bottomless pit so that he will not deceive people- he stays there for 1000 years… In verse 14, you see he burns in the lake of fire with his cohorts. Matt 25:41 also confirms this.

He isn’t punishing anyone in hell. He is here on earth trying to take us down with him. He will be punished in hell with every other sinner who doesn’t give their life to Jesus.

Maybe because the reason the devil is in he'll to begin with is because he was jealous of God's creation (Us) and deceived God acting in that jealousy taking other angels with him. After he was sent to hell it manifested more anger and the devil takes it out on the people because that's as close to God he will ever be again. It says in the Bible to watch for the devil and his Sins he traps us in. God is the only light of this world and the devil wants to dim that light until its gone That's why I love the Lord in all his Glory forever.

God doesn't want any of his people to burn in hell that is why he sent his son to die in our place. Satan uses, confuses and abuses people (gods creation) to get his revenge. Satan knows that tempting , using, abusing humans hurts God.

Because if they hate God and the devil hates God, the devil wants them to be in hell with him because he hates God too I think
