That flocking is a great idea. I wonder if you could use it on the headliner? I’m older than you, but do you remember back in the 70’s how guys would customize their vans? I think they called it angel hair! That idea of tape on the roof was genius! It’s going to look incredible when you’re finished! Nice!

I've built one of those, I can confirm that it is a fun build, goes together well enough for an old MPC kit however I had to lower it, the box stock stance was way too high for my taste. Yours is coming along good.

Nice build. I got one when they first came out as well. Pulled it out recently to start prepping it, to build. I am going to do it as a '50s hot rod. I am using real wood stains for the paneling. Looks good so far. Haven't chosen a body color yet.

Had the same issue with the windshield. Which pushed the front frame away from body lol. Also glued it back together, then clamped it.Just watched this video, wished i seen it earlier. Nowvwe know👍.You did an amazing job on this kit.
