Thank you for not insulting us by skipping the middle step where you tore down the motor! LOL 😄😂 most videos want you to believe all they had to do was add fresh gas, jump the battery. A couple of primer kicks and she fired right up, idling down nicely.

My 72 interstate has more throw on the Kickstarter lever , perhaps someone has not set the kickstart quadrant in its correct position , most Norton's when set up correctly are either first or second kick starters.

Harley Springer front end differs from this one and is actually better because not only does the dual springs act as shocks but Harley uses a duel pitman arm with a swivel at the front axle… The Indian uses straight forks and relays solely on the springs at the steering tree to absorb all the road… Really skinny shocks, probably no spring or piston shock inside each fork… Granted Indian was made a couple years before Harley’s came to production in 1903 but Harley managed to stay the course whereas Indians well you know the story… Today an Indian is similar to a metric motorcycle and their electronic technology is Japanese Subaru origin technology. Good bikes though and reliable but Harley is still my favorite, especially the EVO engine

It's OK it doesn't subtract from the look, and I'm pretty sure i wouldn't be able to resist polishing it myself if i was so lucky to own one :-D
