Canada needs to stop the over production of Canola. Canada needs to produce just enough for domestic consumption and stop exporting their overcapacity. 😂
@whatthefuturesАй бұрын
In a perfect world not having to export canola would certainly help. But more importantly fair and honest trade partners are what’s required here.

Been using ops centre for two years now. It's fantastic for the most part some quirks that need work. But being able to set jobs to a quarter of land with notes or things to look for or hey your not supposed to be there with that chemical blend is great. Being able to monitor on the fly what people are doing in the feild gives great peice of mind.

As a member of the ag community, this situation is absolutely disgraceful on said companies end. Unforanutely not surprising though. I know of multiple grain buying companies who stopped working with them because of the changes they introduced to the payment terms. Where licensed grain buyers used to be able to pay the farmer directly and both farmer and company were responsible for their brokerage fees. Although their brokerage fees are one of the highest in the whole industry, it still worked, until it didn't. I hope more people like Christi tell their stories and thank you for bringing more light to this! There are some really amazing licensed grain buyers and brokers in Alberta, the kinds who know the importance of our farmers and put them first!
