My sinking funds include traditional sinking funds, such as auto insurance, gifts for Christmas, annual HOA bill... and then it also includes what others would classify as cash envelopes, such as beauty, clothes, entertainment, etc. We keep everything in the bank and not in cash, so we lump the categories all together. The sinking funds we have are categories that usually have a balance that rolls over to the next month. I hope that helps 😊

I'm sorry I don't have extra time to help directly with your budget. I would suggest figuring out how much income is brought in each month, subtract the bills/subscriptions/gas/groceries that occur regularly, and use the remaining amount to determine how much to allocate to extras, such as savings, entertainment, books, clothes, gifts, vacation, etc. I have a few videos of weekly check-ins that I used to do to help me stay focused on our spending that might be helpful, also.
