Hi, great video, thanks, but for me difficult to play... I do not get the difference betweeen the "double stroke" with the left hand/fingers, when I play, sound is always same...
Hejka! Po czterech latach nauki rytmow westafrika nie potrafie akompaniowac do roznych utworow. A tego wlasnie pragne! Dzieki za super wideo! Mam nadzieje ze krok po kroku osiagne upragniony cel.

hello! love your vids, your content is a great source of inspiration for me! I have a question, how are you recording all this? connecting you mic with a camera or a phone? and how did you attach the mic to the djembé? could you perhaps make a video about how to record yourself, and some more information about a decent set up to start with?
@DjembeMaster17 күн бұрын
Hey, thanks! I use the iPhone 14 Pro for recording video, sound is mostly going through Logic Pro (not always) and I use a Shure bass drum mic (Beta 52A) Sometimes a dynamic mic for top end (Shure SM57), but mostly some condenser mic as the overhead (not sure, I think the brand is AIR). My voice is mostly going through a Sennheiser wireless mic system. Then a little compression and limiter to all the channels and export :)

Grest video! What kind of rope do you recommend for the Djembe?
@DjembeMasterАй бұрын
Thanks, I don't know much about ropes or traditional djembes - I only play and recommend the modern stuff. Easier to live with for me at least :)

Hi, I’ve started my Djembe way a 4 month ago. one ago joined your channel. Thera are two positive things I can see during the watching: djembe lessons sure at first and improving English skills due to I am from Russia. Anyway, I wish you Good luck, massive stream of new subscribers and other positives.

I wonder how do you remember long beats like the last one, do you have some sentence in head that similar pronounciation?
@DjembeMaster9 күн бұрын
This might also work well (to have a sentence in your head) but I just “speak” rhythms with my hands. Drum set background, so these beats come quite naturally.
