Oh my!!! I'm "mature" now, but hubby and I laughed over this song for decades. Never forgot the lyrics or the phone number. I can almost swear I've faked that phone number as my own a time or two. Probably to some random and unsuspecting goofball. I seemed to be quite popular among the "goofball" crowd. Hmmm. 🤔 However, I swear this song wasn't this horrible back then. Yeow! Maybe I'm not as lucid now as I thought I was. Or??? 😬 Was I not as lucid back then as I thought I was! 😂

The bassist doesn't look like or Act like the Tom Betinni that I've seen with Jackyl! Not enough movement energy!
@soeffingwhat5 жыл бұрын
@@Tennfatmatt Its the same Tom Bettini. He's not moving around as much because its a much smaller stage. Type his name on KZbin and you'll find an interview with him in his home where he describes the Jackyl Story and why he left.

It’s the real Tom from jackyl and how can he run around on a 5x5 stage. Not much room to stand
@jamesgood80119 жыл бұрын
Damn it has to suck playin in holes like this after getting a taste of the big time .
@soeffingwhat5 жыл бұрын
Not really, I think he's happy to be where he is, he left JAckyl in 2000 cos he said he'd had enough of that. For certain musicians also you can get a taste of both worlds. For example I saw Lee Sklar (legendary session bass player who's played with Phil Collins, James Taylor Cher and 100s of others, he always has a very long beard and is nicknamed Gandalf) with a singer called Judith Owens (who is also the wife of Harry Shearer from the Simpsons and Spinal Tap) on a tour of smallish jazz clubs in Europe. The next year I saw him back on tour with Phil Collins playing huge stadiums once again. Now I think he's back with Judith Owens.

He helps show that righthanded Basses (including Mockingbirds) look really good when us Lefties play them upside down. I'd do that but I'd have to restring it.

I have seen these guys at Rush Street and was amazed at how they get their sound in this acoustical oblique and confined venue.
