After wearing it a little bit, not cutting the inner belt does cause issues. Once it is trimmed to size it allows the outer belt tighten down better utilizing that flexible part on the inner belt.

Wish someone would do an actual footage on the current 2024 review of the MacV-1 mid boots. Like take them out of the box slowly, do a 360 visual of em, put them on walk a few steps, and share that particular experience. Sadly I see reviews from 5 plus years ago, and obviously the styles have changed, or the constant reviews of the MacV-2s or sneakers. Sir if you have those, can ya review it? I want to buy, but I’m not seeing any advertisement for them.

You do NOT have to remove your trigger to install the Wilson extended slide release. You simply remove the slide stop pin by grabbing it from the left side and pulling it out. I actually use a pick to grab under the pin. Once the is out remove the factory slide stop. Put a dab of grease on the spring to hold it on the new slide stop and place in the FCU. Align the holes and reinsert the pin. Your done. Total time including a quick wipe down is less than a minute. No playing with the trigger on this upgrade!

My guy get you some silent motor drivers for the printer.

Just pull the pin with some pliers. You don't need to disassemble the trigger.

I appreciate your effort to help us in the gun community, however you're making an easy change more complicated than need be. Without disconnecting the trigger spring, simply pull the trigger pin out. Then remove the old slide release from the FCU and drop in the new one and push the pin back in, and you're done.

Just changed mine as well on my X5 and all I used was a pick to pull out the big pin above trigger and I didn’t have to take the whole thing apart. Just slid pick around edge of exposed side.

Olight isn’t water resistant. Olight is the only flashlight to have a confirmed kill. Don’t buy a Olight.

Hmmmm... My votes have gone to the HOLOSUN 509T for my pistol and the HOLOSUN AEMS for my 9 mm RUGER PC chassis carbine. SIG makes some very good ROMEO upper end sight. BUT the HOLOSUN sights, like the SIGHTMARK, they have a much larger "view box" which is good for CQB.

Sorry I'm late but another knock on Olight is their claims. If you look up testing of their lights a lot of time the lumens are quite a bit less than what they claim or they step way down after a very short time of high intensity

I have the Sightmark Ultra A Spec, it's the one that cost like $50 more. It's not bad at all. I bought it for a 9mm pcc, but ended up putting it on a AR-15. I have better red dots like Holosun HS515CM, Holosun 507k X2 and Sig Romeo4 and Romeo7. But the Sightmark works just fine. Gonna order a Sightmark Mini Shot M Spec for a AR-15 pistol I'm building.

I wonder why the paddle on the slide stop has an ear that aims toward the muzzle direction when it should aim back toward your thumb. It would help you reach it without breaking your grip at all. That little 3/16 worth of an ear the other way would be huge. Oh well.......Im gonna get this one I guess , thanks for the straight forward opinion.

I have the full size Odin GL M which is heavier with the same mounting system and have zero movement mounted to the rifle. This light will blind the intruder giving you a great advantage. It is literally bulletproof.

The magnetic snap ring tail cap is all you need to know to make a decision if you run a pressure pad. Unscrewing the steam light tail cap to replace batteries is a nightmare unless you leave a lot of slack in the cable. Also. You can bolt the olight directly to the M-lok rail with some large button-head screws and small washers between the light and the rail. That will save you bulk, 1.3oz and get the light closer to the rail.

Hey man, really want to thank you for the comparison. I run an Odin, and was thinking of getting the mini for a 12.5 SBR. Your comparison clearly showed that the Streamlight has a longer throw. Additionally, the Streamlight has a strobe feature, and it's a traditional dual fuel (DL123 and 18650), which is much more flexible, especially in SHTF, which is now becoming more likely by the day. I’m really glad I found this. I was about to buy 2 Odin Mini kits for my new 11.5 pistol and 16 rifle (just getting into the AR game). I wanted something quality that wouldn’t break the bank like a Surefire. Definitely going to go with the Streamlight. The difference in the mount is important to me but the battery difference is the real key. Being able to get a light that puts out twice as high candela for longer then the Odin, which steps down its brightness 4 times in the 60ish minutes it take to die, for less money is a no brainer.

If Odin would manufacture an 18650 light I'd consider them

The Sight Mark is cheap and works but when you change recitals, it changes zero too.
