It can be a productive spot! However, I do find the fort picklecombe side to be better in general.

Lovely video. Nice to see the water around there, I was stationed down that way in the late 1970s and used to sail a lot in the area.get yourself a plastic jaw plier for handling the bass.🐟

Glad you enjoyed the video! Apparently fish grips damage the mouths of the fish so I'm hesitant to use them. I'll just put up with them flapping and me getting spiked 🤣

Another cracking video. Yep that would have been a Blue Fin Tuna. I saw some Saturday morning whilst fishing at Mountbatten, about 50m off the reef. Unbelievable. Absolute monsters.

Thank you, mate. I kept seeing mackerel jumping and figured that they were chasing baitfish or that bass were chasing the mackerel. But then I saw tuna smash them and realised what's up! An amazing sight.

Nah, I didn't. I don't have scales since my last set broke. And it didn't fit nicely enough on my kitchen scales for a proper measurement🤣

In my line of work my rota is all over the place so I try and get out whenever I can, weekdays or weekends. Also fitting it in around looking after my daughter.
