Love this cover and the style of animation. The presence of the car reminded me of Back To The Future for a second.

Is there a better opening 3 songs than Godless, Mohammed and Nietzsche? Blew me away and I never get tired of listening.

What a band! What a sound! This is how psychedelic rock should sound . It should have at least reached the commercial level of Brian Jonestown Massacre

I recently listened to a bunch of albums & EPs by the band weird owl. Their music no doubt is one of the most adventurous and uncanny in the new psychedelic rock and found a permanent slot in my play list in the August company of BJM, The Black Angles, and Spacemen3

What the scene really needs is more new bands to carry the torch. It's asking a lot of bands who have been around 15-25+ years to keep doing all the heavy lifting, though many of them are still putting out great music. Unfortunately, music styles always go in and out of fashion and I don't know if there are going to be as many new bands in the psych genre going forward. There will be some great ones but perhaps the golden era has passed. I was pretty bummed out, for example, that Kikagaku Moyo called it a day, they were an example of a band who would have been one of the main leaders going forward. The kids are always on to something new, that's just how it goes and how it should be. At any rate, we're lucky to still have a few dozen excellent psych and adjacent albums coming out every year. Someday even that will peter out.

perhaps it has, kevin..that would be a major bummer..

These guys have definitely stood the test of time. Some good guys lost by the side of the road but the light still shines for some guys. Wish Rob all the best for sure. Keep The Faith!!
