it was a hard decision but i decided not to do it because the white makes it looks cheap especially from far away while the logo design itself is more beautiful, the original looks more expensive but if i had a white car then this would be allot better than the original logo

Car only had a muffler. You can install a resonator if you feel it drones after the muffler delete.

It's Tecora red vernasca leather. It's actually more of a deep red or even you could say maroonish. If the light hits it right it does seem bright ish red.

@Thegarbear05 so the tips are from aliexpress. I have posted the link in several comments before. Please check the exhaust pov video. So the exhaust valve is only installed on the right side of the exhaust. And after the muffler deleted, it still stays intact. But I put the car in sport mode when started and disconnect the exhaust valve actuator wire so it stays open permanently, and the car didn't throw code. Hope that helps

So the exhaust valve is still on yes, it's only on the right side. I recently started the car put it in sport plus mode and disconnect the valve wire from underneath so it stays in open mode. No codes after the muffler delete or any after disconnecting the valve actuator wire.

I see you don’t want to answer this question as I have asked it twice now on two different videos of yours and you have replied to every other comment aside from this one. Dude, no one is going to judge you for using Ali tips many people on Bimmerpost have them. I know that is where they come from, there is no other place as there is no official M part for it yet. I just wanted to know what seller you got them from and if you like them. Share the knowledge to help other M240 owners. Several of the people competing here own the M240.

Yes correct! The start up was on comfort. If you listen closely as I pull off I put it in sport plus you can hear the exhaust valve open.

@Bpatrick14 tbh the cheapest option was around $2500 milltek exhaust. I have just spent about 66k so I was reluctant to spend more money ATM lol. Also this was a cheap option and all I really wanted was the noise to give the car a personality. But later on once the warranty period is over I want to possibly do a downpipe, exhaust and tune. I do have a dinan intake on order. Let see how that will change the exhaust note.

@Bpatrick14 so yeah I looked at the exhaust designs for these cars and it seemed as most exhaust manufacturers just deleted the muffler and slapped on a resonator. Also the resson I went this route now I think, back on it. So I would just suggest save the money 💰 get the muffler delete and enjoy the sound and personality it brings out ofvthe car. If the drone bothers you upon like the first 5 Mins of the initial start up till the engine warms up just get a resonator installed. Surprisingly, it's not abnoxiusly loud like those mustangs, lol. Everyone thinks I have a performance exhaust installed, lol.

Thanks for the video. 😀 Continuing on our previous conversation, can you please comment more in detail on the in-cabin drone that you are getting from the muffler delete? What RPM is the worst spot?

So I would say the drone is very noticeable upon startup and till car warms up gets up and going from 0 to 2500ish rpms it's there for about 5 ish mins. But once the car war.s up and has been running for a bit it does quite down very significantly. Also I have noticed a slight drone in the cabin past 80 mph around 2k to almost 3k rpms. Again I feel once the car does run for like 5 mins or so the initial drone dies down very significantly. Hence I don't plan on installing a resonator. Also the cabin is very well insulated. Hope that helps.

You know I did not know that you could just throw on the exhaust tips like this. You might have just convinced me to follow your lead here, so I can complement my M Performance Exhaust. The whole fake "exhaust tips" integrated into the bumper, but not attached the muffler was actually something I didn't like with this car.

Beautiful!! I’ve got a 2022 BG full spec like yours except with Black leather and blue calipers. Bought mine last June and just turned 7000 miles . Love this car as much if not more then when I first got it . What a incredible well rounded car in every area. Got them from Ali express. Fairly simple quick and easy installation. Just make sure to apply medium strength thread lock to the bolts so they won't come loose due to vibration.
