Bro, I have been battling with this the whole day.. the 24F did NOT fit into my battery bracket. the next suggestion was 35 group with similar other specs. I installed and the car started. The problem now is, CHECK HYBRID SYSTEM message that would not go away. Car runs on gas. Would it be a problem if the VENT tube is CLOSED? Other You Tubers suggested resetting by disconnecting hybrid isolator/connector (orange tab), but it does not work. My hybrid system wont run. .The car now runs on gas. OBDii scanner wont pick up any codes. I am out of answers. Any help? Thank you

get a better scanner that can read codes on a hybrid such as the Autel ap200.

yes, only the tensioner needs to be removed (only 2 bolts) and that's it.

yes, tpms. passenger side tire always has a slow leak. Worst when it's cold outside.

depends on the condition of transmission (they wear eventually) If highway miles could last 500k miles..more than 300k+ miles I bet.

@highmilesgarage9131 transmission shifts very smooth. No kicking at all, the engine is a little loud. I used a code reader fixd on it and it said everything was normal.

Blue remote is a trigger wire from your head set which then goes to the amplifier it sends the signal to turn it on .

Thank you , I painted my My Neighbor car trunk and hood, battery went dead so i charged it It worked fine 2 days then I went to move it & no bueno.. I had her get a new battery & same thing Then I seen this Video Ran outside Pulled the wire or plug & FN car turned on!!! I Plugged it back it... Car wont start.. So i unplugged it & BOOM fired right up! What is actual the Main Problem for this to Happen? & why? How to fix the problem? Is it bad not plugging it back on?

How were you able to place soapy water. Dod you take iff the upstream o2 sensor?

use dish soap with water and put it in a sprayer (any spray bottle) No need to take out the upstream sensor

it's not suppose to be filled up to the neck, it should be halfway or whatever is the full mark. Depending on the temp, the level will be different, high when warm and low when cold.

In Minnesota this would be normal. I was in the army at ft Bragg in my youth , the whole base was shut down for two inches of snow, thought is was a little extreme. News called it storm of the century, lol.

I have key signal on dash. Key was stolen. So I had it towed home. Once home. The alarm was going off. So I called 2 locksmiths out to make a key for the car. Neither could get a key because the car wouldn’t let them complete the key making. I went to BMW got a key made. Came home and that key won’t start it either. Any ideas? Please help. Its a 528i 2008

you don't need a wring diagram, just match the colors of the wiring adapter and +12 v to the fuse box.

@@alexs7262 this a bad module in the Prius, tried recharging it for several hours at 1amp and it swelled. Definitely going to the trash. A good module will not do this since the charger will stop automatically.

Were you able to do that without releasing the refrigerant? I had a guy do mine and he had to split the ac pump open or do something that caused all the refrigerant to leak out. The second time I had to have it done, even the shop did it that way.

@@highmilesgarage9131 I appreciate that. I’ve had this done twice before by other people, one was a guy that I knew and one was an actual shop. Both places separated the AC compressor. I don’t see why they would’ve even felt it to be necessary. I was able to do it this time without separating them.

I seem to remember the Camrys of this era having oil burning (2AZ-FE) and dash melting issues, but were otherwise quite reliable. Had a 2008 Scion tC for a short period of time and it burned some oil but ran great. My 2007 Accord currently has ~657,600 miles and still going. Burns a quart every 1k miles or so, and getting quite rusty, but it won't die.

yes, they burn oil due to bad piston rings. It was fixed for free by Toyota when they have the recall. Got the engine replaced with updated piston rings right around 90k miles. There's still a lot out there that's still burning oil due to their owners missing the recall.

@ I remember my tC wasn’t bad enough for Toyota’s standards for the ring recall back when I owned it. I think it was a quart every 2500 that mine burned and it needed to burn a quart every 1000-1500 or thereabouts? You might remember it better than me :)

It’s a scam- you can reuse the plug- unless it was leaking already-but if it wasn’t leaking- reuse it, it won’t leak
