No, 20s are the sweet spot between freedom and peak health. As soon as you hit 30, your body starts to fall apart. Even a healthy 30-year-old doesn't feel as good as an average 21-year-old. But that 21-year-old has every bit as much freedom, if not more than most 30-year-olds because they aren't tied down with children, spouses, long-term committed careers, etc. I don't think there's anything being romanticized there.

As a 23 year old, this is accurate... The 20's are not fun, they are literally you being thrown from having another person responsible for you, to suddenly being responsible for yourself, learning a bunch of new shit, or having to do things you've never done before. Grocery shopping isnt easy. Its designed to be overwhelming so you just grab something and go, no matter the price. Taxes are a nightmare, making sure you have a savings account with money for emergencies is also a nightmare. The 20's is one of the most overwhelming and stressful times of being alive. You're figuring out who you are as an adult, and what being an adult actually is. Your parents usually only prepare your to know how to do laundry, dishes, clean the house, and cook. They rarely if ever teach you how to budget your finances, how to make ends meet, how to ensure you're getting the best value and quality of what you're buying. To understand legal binding documents, signing a lease/mortgage. Its a nightmare. Not to mention our brains are still developing until about 25-27 depending on the person.

If you’re miserable in your 20s, it’s not going to get better. It’s all in your head literally good and bad. The thing is your body won’t be supporting you later so seriously figure out a way to enjoy whatever the hell is happening to you because you won’t be 20 ever again.

20's are always the best for everyone because it's when humans are at their peak ability. You can still learn, feel great and the getting older sludge hasn't yet set in. It's not subjective, it's an objective fact. You will NEVER be as fit as you were in your 20's while being as healthy, having as much energy and as much capability and all of that taking as little time and effort.
@Joris-i7r12 күн бұрын
You might be in peak condition, but these are indeed, just facts. Everyone's 20s are not objectively the best years of everyone's lives. This has to do with how you perceive your 20s, what your mental state is at that time, if you have a good social life, etc. So peak years do vary.
@Dominik18912 күн бұрын
@@Joris-i7r nah, you might not be the happiest or might suffer in your 20's but if you're a healthy individual you peak physically in your 20's

@@Dominik189 yes, but the responsibility I had of caring for my mother and raising my siblings wasn't fun. I was also very overweight. I had gained a lot. I lost 50kg/110ibs in my early 30's. I am in a better place mentally and physically.
