Mary! How nice to hear from you! Thank you for checking in! We are all well. Maybe having a little survivors guilt. There was a lot of damage about one hour north and one hour south west of us. We only had a few trees down and short power outages, thank God! The areas affected were home to one of our largest clay suppliers and clay tools. They were flattened. Communities are literally wiped off the map! It dreadful. The worst scenarios you might see are very real! Keep them in your prayers...

@@kccreates5628 I’m so glad you are all ok but so very sorry to hear of the devastation. Isn’t it awful! Weather patterns are getting worse worldwide aren’t they. We have had one of the wettest summers going. Flooding is common. I wonder how on earth people cope when Homes and businesses are destroyed. I haven’t seen much footage of the storms, I can’t begin to imagine what it has been like for those affected. Prayers for everyone. Stay safe my friend. x

I cut out lots of appliqués and ironed on some heat n bond. When it came to hand stitching it was so difficult to get a needle through. At the time I didn’t know you could buy no-sew. Boy did I have sore fingers. I always find out the hard way lol nice to do something different though. Good to diversify. Tfs x

Thanks for sharing the steps you are using. I have done similar to add some appliques to quilts and it does add pretty details. Will be watching to see how your creative project is going.

Such a shame that the postal charges went through the roof. It stops us all gifting and doing swaps and challenges. It is always good to see what you are up to. I’m always full of ideas but still lack motivation. The bird phobia is interesting as it is not common. I get chills with spiders, even seeing them on screen. It is easy to get carried away buying fat quarters. I’ve done it in the past and I’m the same with yarn. Lovely to see you, no matter how long the wait. Tfs x

Hi Karla, this is a sweet mix of papers and will look so good in a mini journal. Lots of choice. Great if you have few supplies. I know they don’t ship to the U.K. but always nice to see what you are up to. I’m knitting and crocheting baby stuff at the moment, but do need to get creating again. Lovely to see you videoing. It’s a good idea to cut your windows and doors before you put it together. It will make it easier and use tiny rolls of clay on the inside walls before you put the roof on. It makes your walls much stronger.

Yummy makes Karla. The mug is very quirky.. mushrooms are very popular in the crafting community I’ve noticed. Nice to treat yourself. I’m hoping to be more motivated in 2024 … hopefully. Glad the crochet bag arrived, I enjoyed making it. I always prefer thrifting at animal rescues. You had some bargains again. A Very Happy New Year to you and yours xx
