Listening to instrumentals of Shibayan's vocal tracks just makes me appreciate how much effort Shibayan puts to accommodate the vocals. Yana's vocals are amazing, but I can guarantee you, if this track was weak during vocal sections, she wouldn't hit as hard, she'd be struggling.

Is it just me, or does Desert Years sound kind of... off? Like, on the original CD the slap bass was more “aggressive” and had more punch to it, and some of the lead synths didn't have as much reverb and sound slightly different as well. Unless that's just KZbin crunching the audio.

One day, without knowing, *we were listening for the first time, the opening of what possibly became the last "Dancehall" series album ever, possibly the greatest time on all of ALR's history.* Fittingly, from the Comiket right before the pandemic. *_The perfect enclosing for an epoch on Touhou music, and for a world that without knowing, we wouldn't see ever again._* Man.
