Toyota has been in a race to toss out good reliable v6 and v8 engines and shoving in 4 cylinder hybrids with shit reliability and recalls. Hope it bites them in the ass.

If they put the naturally aspirated V6 back in these, I'll buy one. I'm a long-time Toyota customer, and I presently drive a Tacoma (with the V6), but I'm gonna pass on a tiny turbocharged 4 cylinder. The added heat and pressure from a turbo means shorter engine life...be it a Toyota or any other make. It's a shame they messed with a good thing.

Complete with BAD design bottom end that ends up destroying the crank bearings in under 30K. Buy an F150 for the good 3.5 turbo or their 5.0 V8 coyote engine!....both long lasting reliable.

I own a 2024 TRD Off Road. The first thing I had to do is replace the Falken 01A Tires which have only about 1/4" of tread, for the real Falken 100H tires, which are Severe Snow Rated. The stock tires are not Severe Snow Rated. Shame on Toyota for putting these crappy 01A tires on this vehicle. The real Falken tires are not noisy, and handle much better in the snow. The TRD Off Road also adds an Engine Oil Cooler and Transmission Fluid Cooler with Heavy Duty 150 Amp Alternator. Towing is double all other RAV4s to 3400 pounds. The ground clearance is only 1" less than a 4Runner! No Start/Stop on my model!
