You caught some mad crazy LARGE fish today for sure. What Whopper Plopper were you using and what was the rod set up/reel/line you used or normally use with the Whopper Plopper? Cool video and nice action on the lake today. Thanks for bringing us along with you.

Hey dirsch if you want a nice fineness football jig for those rocky NH lakes. The pee wee football jig by jewel bait company. Nice bass you guys caught.

Guess some people were causing trouble so the school closed all the access they own. Try putting in the brook on opposite side of rd and going under bridge to get in if ya got a small vessel. Just a suggestion good luck

I fished this lake for several years when I lived in the area. I rarely caught bass much larger than 12-13in along the bridge (very high-pressure spot since it has good shore access and is right next to the boat launch). Surprisingly good crappie fishing in the spring. I would often troll for trout in a small boat this time of year and there were huge balls of smelt seen on sonar though rarely any large trout. I had chatted with a fish and game fisheries biologist about Mascoma years ago and it seemed the consensus was that it is a "strange" lake that should produce larger fish than it typically does.

You hooked up pretty quickly, considering you did not know this area or prefished it. Friggin Pickerels... Great video, always appreciate that you tell what bait you are using and also show us what and how you are fishing. Would you fish this again (for fun)?

What part of the CT river is that? Looked familiar but, I don't ever launch from the NH side. I can definitely confirm lots of pike when I hit that river... some of them are monsters. But those little ones will drive you nuts by end of day. Nice day of fishing for you... thanks for bringing me along. :)

Jeez.....what a day. I was impressed with the first trick where you were rolling it in front of your kayak and the fish bit again, but then was the extra amusement when you were hooked over that branch & log and then BAAAM landed another one.. and that 5 lber was just the meat and potatoes. What a nice fish that was. You definitely had a great day..thanks for sharing this video with us and for always keeping it entertaining.

Pawtuckaway is a great spot. I camp there every summer and always have some pretty decent catches. Mainly on the Neal's Cove side of the lake, but I always try to get across to where you were a few times throughout the trip. Really enjoy the videos! Good luck on the next tournament

I was just thinking how daring you were with the waders on and boom… you commented you were up to your waist. When bank fishing, you fish spots I wouldn’t think to try, but you have proven time and time again, your method or pattern works. How did you find this fishing spot? (Google maps)? That large ribbon worm is a great color, what was it again? Nice to see another video of you “fun fishing”. I always look forward to your next video/adventure. On a side note, the lure you mailed to me arrived today. I’m stoked about it. I appreciate your generosity.

I wish we still had flowers here in Texas like the intro. I’m a beekeeper and it’s only rained 1/2” since May and everything is burned up in this triple digit heat. I’ve been watering my flowering seedling trees on my farm all day trying to keep them alive. I’ve already lost a bunch to the heat and drought. I planted over 100 this spring and have 40 I grew from seed still in pots.
