@@teagreentree that is good to hear. I’m a huge baseball but there isn’t any of that to be found here in Thailand so I have to make do with it. The best part of Thai football are the fans. The Thais are so fun to be around at the games. Glad you found my channel and let me know if there is anything you want to see. I generally am out hunting for interesting historical sites or beaches but I do like to make videos of other interesting things.

@@user-tz2dx4mq7w I would say it was damaged when the city burned in 1767 during the Burmese invasion. It was abandoned after that until the fine arts department came in and restored it.

This is one of the best ruins to see in Ayutthaya. It’s not as busy as others but should still on the must visit list. Here is another one of the best temples in the old capital if you want to see more. @@IslandGal96816 I think this one was a special night market for the anniversary of the Buddha at the temple. There is a night market that is smaller that is open every night in the parking lot. There is also another night market that is about 300m from the train station that is open weekends. If you are here you won’t have any trouble finding a place to go during the evening. I don’t know if they do the special night market every year on the 5th-13th.

@@angsamlap5891 glad you enjoyed it. I have been to this temple many times over the years and it’s one of my favorites in Ayutthaya. I wanted to fly the drone to see how it looked from above and it was pretty cool to see it that way.

@@chanchankrit2740 yes it will be much larger. Modern machines make it much easier to build things like this. Elephants and men carrying rocks were pretty difficult.

This is a great temple to visit. It has a lot of history associated with it. It’s near the oldest temple in Rayong that is also worth visiting. Here is a video of it if you want to see more. @@JorgenD-original it was fun to see. It’s a bit out of town. I didn’t make a video of the mangroves in Rayong itself. There is a cool area with a chedi in the river with a nice walkway along the banks that is in the middle of the mangroves. It’s a great thing to do in the evening. There was a night market as well with live music. Me and my wife had a good time walking around, enjoying the place.

hi did go Tamarind last year thought was a market selling clothe etc and food but its mainly food but very good nice food will be back in huahin in October for 6 month will be back there for dinner whooopi

@@robertuk252 ya it’s different than most Thai night markets since there isn’t any shopping. There is a bit outside on the sidewalk next to the street but not much. It’s almost October already. Won’t be long. Have a good time and thanks for watching.

@@endlessjourneytravels I will head back thru at some point, I will give you a heads up once I am closer to the time. I really enjoyed the week I spent in Bangkok. The mass transit is amazing, it make US mass transit look like a 3rd world country. Well wait the USA is becoming an uncivilized wreck. I found it strange that I had to look so hard to find a trash bin, but there was so little trash around. That made me smile for sure. Thai's are such amazing people.

@@joezip6389 there are a few reasons for no trash cans. Years ago there were a few bombs put into trash cans so they took them all off the streets. The city then put out clear plastic cans but people took them to use at home. A few areas have them again but not many. I generally plan on just carrying my trash around with me half the day. lol the mass transit is very nice. It’s expanded so much since I first moved here in 2009. The green line goes right past my house now. I had to deal with 2.5 years of complete destruction and chaos while it was being built but it’s pretty nice now. I still generally ride my motorcycle but during rainy season I can jump on the BTS and stay dry going to work. Be safe and enjoy your slow travel around and definitely let me know when you’re back in this area.

@@endlessjourneytravels That is interesting about the trash cans. Wow you made Thailand home many years ago. This trip thru is kinda off a test run for me. I am gearing down at work, starting to shift into part time retirement. 2 1/2 years of construction would be rough. I hope you have a great week.

@@4WDAust it’s a nice stop. Make sure to see the Chinese wihan and Buddha mountain while you are in the area. The Wihan Sian is a Chinese temple converted into a museum. It has some of the terra cotta warriors from China on display.

@@4WDAust trat is fantastic. Been in this area many times. If you get time go through Chantaburi. The old town is wonderful and the Catholic cathedral is amazing. Of course Koh Chang, Koh Mak and Koh Kood are nice also. I’ve made a few videos from the area if you are looking for ideas or want to see what it’s like.

@@JorgenD-original it’s a fun place to spend half a day if you want to hang out on the sun chairs and eat. The beach is not pretty but to me it’s ok. If you have more time it’s better to go down towards Hua Hin or over to Koh Chang but this is nice for just a day trip from the city.

@@4WDAust that one is pretty cool. My favorite is in Surat Thani. The Javanese one is unique in Thailand. I like the Laos styled one in Nakhon Phanom as well. It was a Khmer temple that has been rebuilt many times.

@@aperiel glad you enjoyed the video. I always just ride the train back but you can take a van back as well. Many people also go to one of the floating markets from here and make a day trip out of it.

@@floptaxie68 it was a great place to visit. I really love seeing these old Ayutthaya era buildings. I was surprised at how many people were there to study and meditate. It was also fun to see the kids playing music. This was a real treat to visit.

Building style very old, nothing like in new build temple in late 1800s and today temple(wat). no golden painting, roof look very made sense and simple and the fortified wall almost gone, need to revitalization and renovation.
