You know in Design Space if you already know the material that you’re cutting with or the size you should pick that out first so that you can lay it out and then it should cut exactly the way you lay it out

Unfortunately with my recent update in Cricut Design Space, I do not have the simple or complex toggles, it goes straight to a new flatten project button. It shows layers as print then cut, but it is still cutting out inside text and my flatten layer icon is grayed out so I cannot use it. I also cannot find any Washi Sheet material listed. I have wasted so many sticker sheets because it insists on cutting out everything, and is not paying attention to the updated Flatten project button. I want my old manual version back so I can do it myself by selecting items.

When i open the character map and find the font my PC wont give me the options with the flourishes. Its just blank 😩

New cricut user and got one for the school I work at. One thing I found was that design space wouldn't open or install until I switched my laptop to using my phone's hotspot. So apparently it needs an internet connection to start design space but the school's firewall wasn't allowing that.

This video is NOT about turning handwriting into an SVG file. It is junt how to get an image of something written into a cut file. Big difference.
