it is your Mac login password, terminal won't show your password when you type, to follow process just type your password and hit return. that's all

My Mac is 2016 10.9.5 and I followed all instructions but it still asks for my Apple ID when downloading Big Sur. It says the password isn’t correct even though my phone gets a notification that I’ve logged in somewhere else. Help?

Great lesson, thank you! My thoughts: This is a pain in the a$# UX by Apple… that is WAY to complicated for a normal user. I myself don’t like HTML signatures/mails because they tend to be classified as spam more often than emails that are just plaintext.

If it's plugged into Ethernet you can do something like what he showed in the video, but it won't be extending the same Wi-Fi Network. With this your Mac is acting as a router and creating it's own Wi-Fi Network with it's own name and password, not acting as a Mesh Wi-Fi router. If you want multiple routers on the same Wi-Fi Network you need to buy Mesh Wi-Fi routers, like Google WiFi/Nest, or one of the other brands.
