I installed the pc fix mod from abandonedware and it didn't work, the data wouldn't save so the game was forcing me to play in the original resolution and ratio. The direct link you put also doesn't work, I followed every instruction and every time I boot up the game it says "data couldn't be saved" and I have the exact same problem. I've tried it several times now by restarting the process and nothing works.

The controller part worked mostly, for some reason, my x button wont work when I try to select things in my inventory, it just scrolls the inventory when I hit it. Also, when I attack, heather will attack but continue to walk forward while attacking and I cannot figure out how to fix that. Any thoughts?

a bit of a long shot but does anyone know if the audio enhancement pack is giving a false positive on windows for a trojan it said it had a trojan/virgorf.a 😭

As an fyi to anyone gotta make an exclusion via windows or else it will NOT work. If you got a "dll mod not found" windows security-> virus and threat protection->Virus & threat protection settings "manage settings"-> exclusions "add or remove exclusion". Then find the folder where you have silent hill 3 downloaded

I wonder how bootleggers are able to replicate the “wobble groove” nowadays, PS1 games use it for copy protection and they usually won’t boot if it doesn’t have the groove, unless it’s modchipped.

will this enable vibration for controller? I'm just using a dinput controller so it works out of box, but the vibration doesn't work. i assume something changed in how that standard worked over the years

I couldn't get the audio enhancement pack to work with Reloader & it refuses to launch the game for me so I had to remove it from the game files.

There is official Square Enix games with regular bottoms, because Square still made more FF 6, 7,8 and etc passing the 2010s So the bottom is not a Guarantee.

I beat Silent Hill 2 enhanced edition. Fantastic version of the original game and probably the most definitive one. I'd go so far as to say that it's the best mod ever made. Was wanting to play this but idk......Too much crap to go through. I already downloaded SH3 off my abandonware and installed the PC fix and am still getting slowdowns at the beginning of the game. Which I shouldn't because I have a gaming desktop from 2019. From how our technology has evolved, a toaster should run this game.

I used to stock up with black blank CD's back in the day when I found out PS1 disks are black. I think I still have a half dozen or so... 😅 On a side note, I also remember that PS1 discs are harder to copy for some reason. I think someone told me the burn must be done bufferless or something.

All custom firmware enabled PS3s can boot burnt copies of PS1 and PS2 games. There's no black magic going on with these, just trying to make them as realistic as possible. The sellers of these try to make it clear to the best of their abilities that these are copies and not originals. They're being made and sold for modchiped/hacked game consoles. If you're looking for high quality, I would not recommend buying from them, though. There are plenty of people online who offer a better service for custom-made copies. P.S. If you pause the video and read the listing, it clearly shows that it says copy.

Controls are borked, can't get inputs to map correctly at all in game. Key.ini doesn't seem to work at all, inputs are still messed up (sprint/map/interact/flashlight all mixed up). Xinput works fine and reads all inputs, they are getting crossed around somewhere/somehow. Might try to run it through Steam input and see what that does

had an issue with reloaded, the folder and shortcut didnt appear on the desktop so im gonna leave this here if anyone in the future has the same problem. I was on another windows account and the folder and shortcut were created on the Admin/PC windows account desktop. You can transfter it from there and change the location in the reloaded config file
