What an Amazing finish! I was there to witness this finish and it was the most exciting last 10 minutes of a race ever at MONZA! I am a total “Nobody” in racing but even I knew I had just witnessed History at MONZA.

How is the air (exhaust) there? For our karting tracks is a big problem

The Gas karts don't get run all that much anymore so its not vented as much as it used to be but it still vents exhaust pretty well. For endurance races and leagues there is usually a max of 14 on the track and we don't have any issues

If you are in front of him you are NOT going to pull away (unless you have a far superior kart), you are NOT going to fight him off until the checkered flag and you are NOT going to out brake him at the last minute! Yes it is! There nothing really online about it but the league runs every Tuesday all year long. It starts at 7pm and you can come run races before if you would like. The format is 3 Lap qualifier then you go right to a 12 lap heat race and that decides who is in the A- Main and B-Main Feature races which is a 25 Lap Race

That was a hell of a fight! I could tell 29 had a little more power then your kart did. That yellow flag made all the difference cause he was starting to inch away. Great way to stay focused.

Thank you! Even with a slower kart there's always some way you can make it work to be quicker than the fast ones. Its never over until you see the checkered flag :)

That had to be the slowest kart in the fleet. You extracted everything it had! Great stint considering the circumstances.

How is the power and torque compared to the gas powered engines? Have you noticed better times in s2 and s3?

Better torque in some areas of the track. Haven't really looked at the sector time tbh so im not sure but lap times have been around 39.6

Do you ever come off the throttle or just use the break and keep your foot down. I go there from time to time and looking for pointers to get lower than low 39s. Thanks in advance

Yes there are a few places I lift my foot off the throttle but jump back into it quickly after. Also depending on the kart you can use some brake to help you with setting and turning corners.

Yes they are but will be switching to electric very soon and only way to run the gas will be Leagues, Enduros and warriors cup!

Yeah that kart was definitely not up to speed with the others but have to try and get the most out of it and hope you get something later in the race that can makeup what you lost.

Happy you're doing fine. When F1 Boston was around, I took those types of hits so many times. As fun as that type of racing is, it can hurt you real bad. Btw how can I enter a league race there? I've been thinking about trying it for a while.

With the right kart and at league weight which is 210lbs we can usually hit like high 37s. But I would say most people hit like low 38s in league

I got that kart after this stint. When you made lefts, its seemed to have cut the throttle and the gas pedal was really hard towards full throttle. To be honest, 6 wasnt all that much better.

Wasn’t too bad handling wise just felt a little down on power for the uphills. You can hear in the video when I get back in it the clutch struggling to engage

Were there weights added to car to make you 210lbs? If not what do you weigh? I'm about 200 and usually do 40.5 to 39.8ish

Yes we had to weigh 210 I believe and I’m 200 without weight
