The fact that this looks so much more like a remaster rather than a rework really speaks to the strength of the design language on Aeldari. Jes Goodwin (I think his name was?) did a phenomenal job back in the 80s when imagining what a sci-fi interpretation of the classic elves aesthetic should look like. And the modellers at the time did an awesome job translating the art to 3 dimensions. The only real change I can think of in the last 2 big release waves are the Shining Spears (And the posing of how the Aeldari ride their jetbikes in general). And let's be fair, the new Shining Spears looked miles better than the old ones as well. Great to see that the designs seem to be timeless, and just needed a bit of a facelift. And yes, as a fellow Aeldari collector and player since 3rd edition, my wallet is SWEATING right now xD

According to rumours that named all those releases precisely, there is going to be some sort of Corsair release in future that should have refreshed Yriel, new Vyper kit, two types of Corsair infantry, some HQ like Corsair psyker etc. I dunno if it will come this edition but looking at the rumours track record it's likely to happen someday. Karandras apparently coming later, maybe in end of the edition campaign like GW does for standalone character releases.

Big fan of the faithfulness of the new sculpts too! Really cool to see a Phoenix Lord for the Warp Spiders as well. Hopefully we'll get a new Karandras at some point!

Very useful, just what I was looking for. The images on GW's site are... not as good. Less MKVI heads than I would've liked, but still a great set. Will get a bunch of these rather than heavy intercessors.
