My first loc journey they where to much... I felt a lot of weight on me... I was around bad people that switch my energy... I went from not eating clean to drinking every night... I prayed them off and comb them out but through my lord and savior and was kind of forced with some kind of love to get my locs back and this time I love them and will keep them.. You have to know who you are and the power you have within by wearing the breast plate of faith and helmet of salvation... To ask the question do I still drink.... Like a fish but life is about choice....

Do you need developer when going from one color to another???? Or do you just put the black dye over the color already on the locs?

I applied a filler, the color should be red. You can also apply red semi-permanent hair dye. This helps the black hair dye from fading too quickly. I did use a developer. Looking back I don’t think it was needed. You can just apply black hair dye over your color and it should come out correctly.

Girl I remember your first set and I was watching you when I was about 3 months locd and I kept those locs for 2 years and ended up cutting them off because my locs started falling out ,was going through a lot, and stopped caring for them. I was also pregnant at the time too but now I have restarted and almost a month locd now❤️

Keeping your locs covered can be a great help. You can also take progress pics/videos to see how far your locs have grown.

Postpartum hair loss is real!! I had the same issue after my son and I had to cut my year old locs off because of it. I’m on a new journey with thicker locs and loving it. Your locs are beautiful 😍

You will eventually get back to yourself I promise! Do not rush it or let social media make you feel rushed trust the process and drink plenty of water and take prenatals they help with PPD not saying you have that but it will prevent it

Not me also combing out my locs for very similar reasons, I love my locs but I’m not only now bored with them but the general neck pain I was going through was even more noticeable when I started taking them down. I have about 56 more to do but with every loc frees my scalp is able to breathe freely again, I never knew fresh air could feel so good lol!
