The tailights look way better now in my opinion. It matches with the aggressive look of the rest of the car

They sold me mine at 49k after taxes and everything. However I got a lease and I am using it as a business vehicle. I gave 6500 down with 402 payments a month. 12k miles a year. I love it, fun to drive but does feel like an suv when you drive vs a truck feel like many of the ford trucks I have driven including the raptor. I prefer something compact, I’m a huge guy as well but I fit fine at 365 lbs and 5’8”. Since I am doing city driving I get 14 mpg at the moment.
@Mikef1969Күн бұрын
$48,500 if you add the premium package. You can also change your settings and it auto locks when you walk away. Not many complaints as of yet with my purchase. You can also get the full Custer with the premium package in the AT4. I also added the 20” tires. They fill the fender well so much better and really make the truck look so good. The all windows down but not up is my only real complaint.

Agreed. Time will tell. They are seeing some issues with recalls on the powertrains, but it should be a solid vehicle once they sort that out. (New powertrains are susceptible to issues. Just look at what Toyota is going through with their Tundra at the moment.)

Sir, Mazda is NOT a premium/luxury brand. Its a mainstream brand that compete with Hyndae/Kia, Toyota and Honda. Why are even placing it against true premium/luxury such as Acura and Lexus?
@GTGarageTalk2 күн бұрын
Their top trims are legitimate Lexus competitors.

You need to start admitting that Mazda is now on a different level and it is unfair to compare it to Toyota, Honda, especially to Hyundai and Kia.

American vehicles have always had a more solid build quality than Japanese. To say there is 8 years between the 2 vehicles is a bit misleading, the automotive landscape has not drastically changed since then. Chevy could have easily redid the front and rear end and throw a larger infotainment screen in as did Toyota, however Chevy is on a different mission than Toyota. The Malibu has just about all modern features of today, however it just rides on an old platform, as do the Camry.

I can live with the mounting for the rock sliders, I won’t off road I’d rather have steps to get in. There’s a few other complaints I could live with, like the lights control in the screen. I totally agree with the lack of adaptive cruise control, that is a feature I use a LOT. Also at this price point power folding mirrors would be nice. I haven’t decided what to get yet,but lack of adaptive cruise control is a major consideration. Great video!

The reason it's being discontinued is not no so much due to poor sales (like many people have mistakenly tried to imply given that the G70 is the 2nd best seller in its segment) but rather because they need to free up assembly lines to make space for their EV production and other higher volume vehicles. Their Union in Korea will not allow them to add any more capacity, which is why they've reallocated assembly lines like the GV70 Electric & now gasoline GV70 over to Alabama. Problem is, they're also at capacity in Alabama. The Kia EV8 is the planned successor to the Stinger and it's very likely the replacement to the G70 will be based off of it. However, they've delayed production on that to 2027-2028 due to the EV chasm. 2025 as I understand it will be the last year for the current G70, so it'll be a 2-3 year hiatus before any replacement comes.

The dash is like the Mini from BMW. A center info center. Land Rover was moved to India, since is owned by India. I will say the future of Land Rover and Jaguar are not on solid footings. India builds junk cars and even their medical industry makes medicines. They are full of fillers and illegial substances. Buyer beware. I'll take the Ineos over a Cybertruck any day.

I test drove the equinox RS - all wheel drive yesterday I liked it except for there is a noticeable vibration in the front drive unit. We also drove the Blazer RS. AWD. My wife likes the larger blazer much better. For hauling our adult families. It feels a lot more roomy in the back. The biggest thing I didn’t like was it did not have super Kruse available. I don’t know if the equinox just has a problem with the front motor on the one we test drove. Or. That’s how they all are?

Using "Low torque" as a critique like the truck doesnt have a completely adequate towing capacity, and lets be real... who needs 400 ft/lbs of torque in a midsize truck? If you NEED those torque levels, buy a fullsize...
