So the slide out where the queen bed was. I thought I saw some daylight. Is there a way to make it more air tight? I might use it in colder weather, but nothing crazy that a good heater wont fix. Love the video and very informative. Never seen a camper like this until I have been looking and found one.

Looks prone to water leaks. What does it do in the wind? Do you load the upper cabinets after they are installed?

Does the shower curtain go all the way around or just in front? What did you use as far as paint in the walls in the shower. Same paint and primer?

I noticed you removed the wardrobe. What did you do without that storage and what made you take it out?😊

My daughter and I just bought a used one that was made in 2000 from same manufacturer! I needed something we could hide below fence line due to zoning rules in Marietta, GA. We watched your set up video, as the layout is almost identical! I am 61 and my daughter is 30 and we have a newer four door Ford pick up. Hoping to make memories in my first camper.

Do you still have this trailer? Still happy with it? Thinking of getting one! Wondering how you like it a year or two later.

I don't see it being a cold weather camper.
@lauravictorious4670 Жыл бұрын
That depends on how cold and how it's used. It does have a heater, and that will keep it warm, but setting it up and taking it down in cold weather might not be pleasant. A traditional pop-up wouldn't be good for cold weather.

We have the same set up. I took pictures....many pictures before I took it apart when we got the trailer home. It's taken me several times to figure it out, but finally I have it down to an art. I've never used that hook thing to put the bars on. I use the jack to raise the vehicle and they slide right on and off. And also check the nuts and bolts on the L bracket. I've torqued mine to the manufactures specs and after a long trip, they have loosened up a little. Not to the point of coming off, but when I go to re- torque them they turn a little. Also check the nut on the bottom of the ball after a long trip. We just got back from a 3,000 mile round trip and wouldn't you know it, when I was unhitching our travel trailer, the ball moved! I checked the nut and it had come loose about one turn. Wouldn't have been long and things would have gone bad for us if we didn't notice it was loose.

Maybe an odd question, but can you deploy a Trailmanor while it's still hitched to your truck; this assumes you don't have a topper/shell on the truck? I ask because if you are on a long trip, you might want to pull into a rest stop and take a nap; it would be awkward and time-consuming if you needed to unhitch each time.

Cool bit of engineering but looks like you would have to have a truck to put everything inside out before you fold it up

Keep your wheel chocks in place before you hitch. It’ll lessen the chances of the trailer rolling forward or backwards. 2. Make sure the tongue latch is closed before raising the tongue to attach your weight distribution bars, otherwise, you’ll lift the trailer right back up off the ball, all you’ll have to start all over. 3). Never, Ever, EVER mess with the tongue of your trailer if the stabilizer bars are down, always Always, ALWAYS, raise them up first. Otherwise, you’ll bend them.

I recommend RV EDUCATION 101 with Mark Polk right here on KZbin. You will understand and get the idea of RV hookup and it will be so easy.

Weight distribution hitch…I first hook up the trailer on truck hitch, lock it, then I raise the jack all the way up taking weight all the off the hitch and onto the jack(yes the truck back will raise), I put the weight distribution on the furthest lock( this way I am taking as much weight away from the hitch and back onto the weight distribution hitch, then after all is locked into place I lower the jack, you will hear some noises that the weight distribution doing it’s job. Hope it helps!!😅
