Yup, it's the worst of the first five issues, but still a good one. And comparing with the Wells run, it's pretty much a masterpiece.

no doubt im a big brian azzarello/eduardo risso fan,....but- i know in painting, or at least i was taught, to not use black to achieve darks, but actually darker colors,....that said, the palette is sorely lacking darks to the point that i didnt even buy it. maybe this was exactly the way eduardo wanted to paint it, ok- but i do miss his tasteful use of dark-whether it be black based or darker color based..... had no idea there would be a no 2, perhaps ill give it another go out of respect to the team.....

I've read it, I can't believe how beautiful it is for an isekai, lengthy chapters with consistent art and beautifully conveyed peace. Explanation on ranks and element is clear and easy to understand

I don’t care what people say: I really like this Deadpool. Will Friedle is a great choice, he has a natural delivery and got a good chuckle out of me a few times. No Nolan North but for voice actors for Deadpool, he’d be my second choice

Don’t forget that Hot Rod is looking for Springer from the free comic book day. But I agree, even being a tf fan, it’s like they’re throwing bots in hopes to get more traction. Cool to merge the universe, but I feel it’s taking from their story. Duke and Cobra Commander did well with the balance, I feel.
@GraphicPolicy5 күн бұрын
Yup, didn’t forget that. But seems odd he’s just parked in a garage in the middle of nowhere and doesn’t seem to have any functional issues. At least Jetfire was out of energy. But, that’s the issue with monthly comics that are part of a bigger story. Reading them together is a different experience than individually.

So a google searches for "do girls read comics" brought up some articles that reference some analysis that was done by Graphic Policy... but I can't find anything about that analysis anywhere online. Other studies show that girls are 20-25% of readers, but I can't find the one that claims that 53% of comic readers are girls... Do you know anything about this?
@GraphicPolicy5 күн бұрын
Yup, we're the ones that did that study. The difference is a lot of studies just survey people who go to comic shops, and even then, they focus on people who show up on Wednesdays which is the more hardcore. But, when you add in those who read digital comics, webcomics, manga, go to libraries, and buy online, it's much closer to a 50/50 split of readership.

You can use that adventure as an example adventure, however it should not be difficult to also use any trade paperback comic book for an adventure.

Deadpool VS task master is an interesting fight indeed. This show spends all its time affirming how badass and difficult task master is to fight, and even he cannot match the insanity of deadpool. Mind you, the one time i am aware he has done this, fully study and mimic deadpool, he even begins to hear the voices.

Debating on folding in the tabletop game videos here, but probably going to keep that separate. As far as toys... we try to keep it relevant to comics (not always).

I saw an adult reading this at the library (I'm a milllenialn who like anime/graphic novels) and I was intrigued. I read this is one sitting and definitely cried. I enjoyed this book so much I intend to read the novel!

Let us know how the novel is and if it's different than this. There's some amazing graphic novels/comics out like this and a lot that do an amazing job of chronicling real history.

I wish i enjoyed this series. This was by far the best issue yet but i guess its just not for me. I appreciate the art but its not the kind of art i look for in a comic book. I agree this would probably be better read in a volume like manga rather than a monthly format. Gonna give it a few more issues though. Glad you enjoyed it though!
@GraphicPolicy12 күн бұрын
As an X-Men series, it's so-so to me. But, I'm really enjoying it as more of a horror series. It's the biggest break from the source material of the three series that have launched so far.

Graphic policy In the comic Marvel Knights 4 volume 1#21 when Black Panther and Sue Storm are at the lake and are about to kiss, was it Sue Storm who stopped him from kissing her and rejected T'Challa due to her marriage to Reed or was it T'Challa? Who stopped her from kissing him and rejected her?

I think Gaiman adds something to it by virtue of his mastery of the craft of comics. The issue is that if feels like A Song of Ice and Fire in that it has taken so long to be released that the world it is a response to no longer exists. It's also incomplete. I really hope that Gaiman and Buckingham get to finish it.

John was my grandfather instructor. I saw the comic ads but didn't make the connection until I was told. His antics was part of his great marketing which was the pulse of Chicago's reputation as the seething gray cloud of the midwest with all the race issues, the black panthers, and martail arts being associated with thuggery which was why magazines back then didn't cover chicago tournaments where John was the main promoter. Martial art instructors in the sixties in Chicago would not teach blacks. John did and took pride in producing "top gun" negroes as he put it in interviews. And he alienated his white base doing that but he didn't care because his mythology had too much traction. Despite the persona, he was an excellent instructor, had command of the basics, an excellent brick breaker, and had charisma the cameras loved. He knew it. He sold it. He was a product of his times. It would be great if the comic book writers reached out to those who are still here who knew John. You would get really great insight. Thanks for posting.
